Here's a script for a video resume tailored for a full-stack developer specializing in the

MERN stack:

"Hi! My name is Bavneet Kaur, and I’m a passionate Full Stack Developer specializing in the
MERN stack, which incorporates MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, and NodeJS. After
completing my degree, I took a gap to prepare for government exams. Although I didn't achieve
the desired results, this experience taught me resilience and perseverance. During this time, I
realized my passion for technology, which led me to enroll in the UpGrad Bootcamp for Full
Stack Development with a focus on the MERN stack. Since then, I've been dedicated to building
my skill set through hands-on projects, coding challenges, and self-learning. I want to share a
bit about my journey and why I believe I’m a strong candidate for this role.
● In terms of technical skills, my command lies in developing end-to-end web applications
using MERN stack. I’ve good understanding of both front-end and back-end
technologies.
● I’ve worked extensively with ReactJS and NextJS(still learning) to create dynamic,
interactive and responsive user interfaces with seamless user experience across
different devices. I prioritize clean and reusable components with leveraging tools like
Tailwind CSS and different styling UI’s for modern look and field.
● On the server side, I have worked with NodeJS and ExpressJS to build robust RESTful
APIs handling everything from routing (integrates NextJS with NodeJS) to authentication
and database management, and I use MongoDB as my database solution (sometimes I
use mySql it depends on the project requirements/dependencies of data) for its flexibility
and scalability, managing data with Mongoose and integrating it efficiently into full stack
projects.
● Additionally, I've used Git/Github for version control and am familiar with tools like
Postman for testing APIs.

To gain practical experience, I've worked on several personal projects.I believe the best
way to showcase my skills is through my projects. Here are a few I’d like to highlight

Project 1: Whisper Chat App


Developed a full-stack chat application where users can create profiles, catch up with others,
post updates. It featured real-time notifications and messaging using Socket.io and a REST API
for post and user management.
Project 2: E-commerce App (it is just for example)
Built an end-to-end e-commerce platform using MERN where users can browse products, add
items to their cart, and checkout. This project featured user authentication with JWT, secure
payment gateways, and an admin panel for inventory management.

I am constantly learning and exploring new technologies. I enjoy solving complex problems,
whether it’s debugging code, optimizing database queries, or enhancing user experiences
through better design and performance. I am detail-oriented and focus on writing clean,
maintainable code.
In addition to my technical expertise, I’m a strong communicator and enjoy collaborating with
teams. I’ve worked on several group projects during my studies where I played key roles in both
frontend and backend development. My ability to adapt to new tools and environments,
combined with a passion for continuous learning, drives my growth as a developer.
