0 - Dhaka Divisional Hackathon

General Rules and Guidelines

The Question set will be sent to the Team-leader Email on 5th December (12 - 24 hours earlier
before the main round)

1. Projects

1.1. Participants will create a new clean GitHub repo and share their repo at the beginning of the
round

1.2. A readme file is expected as documentation of their code

1.3. If multiple repositories are used, the primary repository will contain the links to those
repositories

1.4. The project must be developed on the day of the Hackathon. Any project that was developed
before or after the start of the Hackathon will be disqualified

1.5. Commit frequencies will be checked after certain intervals for code legitimacy (huge
commits after a short period of time will be noted)

2. Deliverables

2.1. Google Classroom access will be provided on the day of hackathon

2.2. Submit the following in Google Classroom:

● GitHub repository link


● Presentation slides
● Documentation (Add Readme. md at your GitHub repo)
2.3. Submission Requirements:

● All files must be compressed in a ZIP format


● ZIP file name must match your Team name
● Submission must be done by the Team leader only
● Only one submission per team is allowed

3. Facilities

3.1. The participants will have to bring:

● Laptop
● Accessories (mouse, keyboard, multiplug, etc)
● Development tools and necessary software should be installed on the laptop

3.2. We will offer internet access (Wi-Fi only), but it's advisable to have mobile data as a backup

3.3. No paid API will be provided by us. But you can bring it.

3.4. Meals and snacks will be provided by us

4. Rule Enforcement

4.1. Organizers and appointed judges have the final say on all matters regarding rules and
fairness

4.2. Any violations of the rules will result in penalties or disqualification, depending on the
severity of the violation

4.3. Participants are encouraged to report any rule violations to the organizers or judges promptly
