opportunities for all. Thus, Lampitak National High School would like to share its Best Practices from S.Y
2021 to present under the leadership of the school head Ma’am Jane M. Banaga.
Lampitak NHS has 20 personnel and together, the Lampitak NHS faculty and staff are working hand in
hand in fulfilling the Deped Vision, Mission, and Core Values. Everyone is committed to produce quality
learners and to make a safe and conducive learning institution.
With the outbreak of Covid 19 Pandemic, life change tremendously especially in the aspect of education
but learning must continue. However, Lampitak NHS continue the invaluable commitment to their
profession by ensuring a continuous implementation of DepEd programs for educating learners amidst
the pandemic. In order to adhere the mandate of Basic Education Learning continuity Plan, Lampitak
NHS started its preparation for the new normal education through a conduct of school preparedness
inventory ..
-classroom preparations
-and constant communication with the teachers to give update and information regarding new normal.
During the Modular distance learning last S.Y 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, Lampitak NHS tried to do its
best to reach out learners, parents and other stakeholders in engaging to the implementation of the
new mode of learning. The school implemented the necessary guidelines and programs to ensure the
continuity of education through distance learning with Modular Print as a learning modality. With this,
the school initiated to implement a modular distance learning program entitled MDL PADAYUNA,
BWASDAMLAG HANDUMA! which won as 2ND PLACE during the DIVISION WIDE Search for Schools MDL
Best Implementer.
This program addressed the needs of the learners amidst pandemic---to assist them in answering their
modules and giving them constant communication via Online Kumustahan, video call and text messages.
During the delivery and retrieval of SLM, stakeholders ( parents, Parents-Teachers Association Officials,
School Governing Council, TRIBAL COUNCIL, Brgy Local Government Unit Officials) engage and extend
their heartfelt support
.
To equip the teachers, the school had also conducted a series of Learning Action Cell that empowers and
strengthen the skills of the teachers necessary for the enhancement of the teaching and learning
process and to give quality education to learners amidst pandemic. The teachers had also given the
opportunity to attend a lot of seminars and webinars to ensure the preparedness both physically and
psychologically for the new mode of learning especially in addressing the learning difficulties of the
students and to bridge the learning gaps.
Aside from teaching and learning process, the school also focuses in enhancing the school premises to
ensure a child-friendly, safe and motivating environment. Last S.Y. 2021-2022, the school achieved
improvements in landscaping, front school fencing, and administrative office renovation with the fund
from the MOOE.
During the teaching-learning process, teachers identify the learning gaps and address them accordingly.
Strategic Intervention Materials(SIM) were created, adapted and implemented to address the learning
difficulties of some students found in the least mastered skill reports..
To foster strong bondage between the school and the community and to encourage partnerships
between stakeholders. The school conducted activities like peacekumunidad last Dec 2021. Feeding
program for the undernourished learners in partnership with the Gulayan sa Paaralan. Bayanihan to
maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the school premises. And classroom structuring in the
preparation for the Progressive f2f classes.
Lampitak NHS also highlights its certificates as it bags as one of the top 10 finalist during the National
Pambansang Paligsahan ng balagtasan 9th Diwang: Sagisag Kultura ng Filipinas Competition on
December 8, 2021 and 1st place in the Municipal-wide oratorical Speech last Oct 25 2021.
Just recently, Lampitak NHS won the 1ST PLACE in Dagliang Talumpati participated by Mike Pelegro, g11
student and also 1st place in Dalawahang Awit by Reinheart Galila and Bevie Joy Vega during the
Patimpalak sa Birtwal na Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika held last Sept 23, 2022.
After two school years without face-to-face classes, the empty halls and corridors of public schools
nationwide were once again filled with students as the Department of Education (DepEd) formally opens
the School Year (SY) 2022-2023 last Aug. 22, 2022. With this, Lampitak NHS had also ensured the
preparedness of the school premises, facilities and classrooms to accommodate the learners the 503
enrollees from Grade 7 to Grade 12.
The school is also privilege to receive the approval to offer Humanities and Social Sciences or (Humss)
for the S.Y 2022-2023 after being validated by the Regional Program Supervisor, Sir Crisanto M. Bulado
last August 11, 2022
Lampitak NHS also implemented its Summer Home Assistance on Reading by the Parents or
SHARP 2022 that aimed to reduce the number of learners who have extreme difficulty in learning to
read, to help the slow readers enhance their reading skills with the help of the parents, and to give
interventions of tutoring struggling readers through the cooperation of their parents. Teachers had also
visited Brgy. ALBAGAN and conducted the Parents' orientation for the said program to accommodate
learners from far flung areas who are willing to join the reading program.
Teachers had also prepared a lot of interactive activities for the students which reflected also in their
respective DLLs; different teaching strategies and approaches to engage the students in meaningful
learning; and during the first day of class, teachers had employed Psychological First Aid to students.
The school also opened the different facilities like Computer Laboratory to nurture and enhance the
knowledge and skills of the students when it comes to Information and communication
technologies(ICT). The School’s Clinic and Library had also become functional to cater the needs of the
students.
Lampitak NHS aims to create an environment that increases the academic, social, and emotional success
of the students; an environment that gives quality education to its learners and caters and addresses
their needs; an environment that prepares students to understand, contribute to, and succeed in a
rapidly changing society; and an environment that fosters collaboration, communication, critical
thinking and creativity. This is Tatak Lampitak National High School! This is How We Soar High in the

Action researches were also conducted to gather information regarding the perspective of the learners
including their difficulties in the new mode of learning and the results were used to find alternative ways
in addressing their learning needs, find new teaching approaches and create intervention materials
