INTRODUCTION

Work immersion is one of the degree requirements for Senior High School Students to

participate in work immersion in an industry that is directly related to their past secondary goals.

Studies are exposed to and get too familiar with work–relevant environments pertaining to their

fields of study through work immersion which helps them improve their competency.

Students can: gain relevant and practical industrial skills under the guidance of industry

experts and workers. (ii) appreciate the importance and application of the principles and theories

taught in school (iii) enhance their technical knowledge and skills; (iv) enrich their

communication in human relations skills, (v) develop good work habits, attitudes, and

appreciation. and respect for work, this prepares students to meet the demands and obstacles they

will face.

The School-community Planning Team (SPT) composed of FELOMINA C. VERGARA
(Team Leader); JEREMY DACULLO (Student Representative); IRVIN T. LEUS (Teacher
Representative); CYRIL BRITO (Parent Representative); HERMAN MELGAREJO (Barangay
LGU Representative); ROWENA I-INDIO (Member of BDRRMC); FREDDIE M. COL-ANZA
(Member Of the School/ Chi/d Protection Committee); and JOSUE GOMEZ (Alumni

should be.

The school stakeholders have expressed their strong understanding and desire in joining
the Department of Education in developing Filipino learners to become passionate about loving
the country and equip them with the necessary 21 st-century skills, values, and competencies that
would lead to the development of the Philippines as a country and as a nation governed by
intellectually, spiritually and emotionally competent Filipino people he stakeholders have further
committed that they are willing to support and provide the schools with the necessary programs,
projects and activities in order to make the school a more learner-centered environment and
conducive to the learning of the Filipino students.

From the perspective of the barangay captain, he expressed that the Local Government of
Barangay Talojongon through his leadership will be in close coordination with the school
administration for possible partnership on programs and projects that can be funded by the
barangay in order to ensure not only the development of the students but also the progress of the
locality.

On the part of the parent and alumni representatives, they solidly shared their special
roles in encouraging more parents and alumni to actively support the school especially the
welfare of the Filipino learners. The teachers' side dedicatedly expressed that as the front liners
in the curriculum delivery, they too will continue exerting efforts and will walk the extra mile to
ensure that quality education will be delivered effectively.

The students, on the other hand, have committed that they will be one with the school and
community to achieve the Department of Education’s goals for them — that is, to become life-
long learners.
MISSION

To protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based, and

complete basic education where: students learn in a child-friendly. gender-sensitive, safe, and

motivating environment. Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner,

administrator, and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensuring an enabling and supportive

environment for effective learning to happen, family, community, and other stakeholders are

actively engaged and share responsibility for developing life-long learners.

Vision

We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose values and

competencies enable them to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to building

the nation, as a learner-centered public institution, the Department of Education continuously

improves itself to better serve its stakeholders.

Operation structure
The Training Experience

First of all, I am very grateful to undertake this subject work immersion because after what

we have learned we realized that work immersion training reflects more about changes and it’s

important to know how rapidly adapt to changes for us to improve and enhance our skill and

concept when it comes to the career job. It would help us a lot in our future job to apply all the

knowledge and ideas that we experienced during the job training like how to solve the

intervention, collect information properly, how manage change, maintain appropriate

confidentiality, and follow orders regardless if they appear unethical, challenge ourselves to do

the right thing to apply it in the future job according to our knowledge to work ethics and to what

companies or organizations policies.

Observation and Insigts

The positive learning gains suggest that work immersion enables my development skills of
teamwork, communication, attendance and punctuality, productivity and resilience, initiative and
proactivity, judgment and decision making, dependability and reliability, attitude and
professionalism

One of its components, the work immersion program, provides students with “real workplace”
experience, giving students a set of technical-vocational and livelihood skills that can help them
make more informed career choices and improve their employment prospects
Overall reflection and Self-appraisal

After all the experience that I have got from the 80 hours of my work immersion, I can
say that I am now prepared for another opportunity to come and grow in ways I never expected,
one of the highlights of my experience was the fun I had with my new friends, being in a new
environment can be daunting, but the camaraderie and support of my fellow interns made the
transition much more accessible, from sharing lunch breaks to collaborating on projects, we
formed a bond that made our work immersion all the more enjoyable

Another valuable aspect of my work immersion was seeing the real-life applications of the
lessons we learned in school, being able to witness firsthand how the concepts we learned in
class are put into practice in a natural work setting was a great experience, it gave me a deeper
understanding of the subject matter and made me appreciate the relevance of our lessons even
more,
