GSDP of Assam has recorded a rise from 1.65 percent in 2016-17 to 1.81 percent in 2022-23. Per
capita income for 22-23 is Rs 1,20,336. in 2023-24 it is to be Rs1,35, 787
GSDP of Assam in 22-23 is 4.93 lakh crore and expected to be 5.7 lakh in 23-24
NSDP of Assam per capita for 2022-23 is Rs 69826 at constant prices [current prices –1,18,504] which
was Rs 65726 in 2021-22 [current - Rs 1,02,965]
BPL population reduced to 14.47 [36.97 in 2013-14. around 80.36 lakh came out of poverty in 9 years]

Assam Chief Secretary unveiled the Disaster Reporting and Information
Management System (DRIMS), a digital platform revolutionizing disaster damage
reporting.
DRIMS, an initiative by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, aims for
accurate assessment and swift aid distribution post-disasters.
Developed with UNICEF collaboration, DRIMS efficiently records critical impact
indicators to expedite relief efforts.
Tracks damages to crops, livestock, and infrastructure, facilitating faster post-
disaster restoration.
