To find out how much you already know about the concepts discussed that will be discussed,

1. What is a curriculum?

For me curriculum refers to a the set of courses, educational content, and learning
experiences offered by an educational institution or organization. Curriculum includes
not only the subjects taught in a school or university but also the methods, materials, and
assessments used to support teaching and learning.

2. What is the importance of developing a curriculum?


The importance of developing a curriculum it is guiding learning objectives it provides a
roadmap for teachers to follow in delivering instruction and assessing student progress.

3. Curriculum development is a process that involves several parts. Arrange the curriculum
development model below in chronological order from the first to the last step. Write

4. Describe briefly the curriculum development model presented above.


A. Educational plan is a strategic roadmap that outlines the goals, objectives, and
actions necessary to achieved desired for educators students and other
stakeholders in the educational process.
B. Extraneous influences are external factors that exist outside the school
environment but can significantly impact student learning and academic
performance.
C. Educational evaluation involves assessing strengths and weaknesses of
educational programs, courses, teaching methods, and student learning outcomes..
D. Students have unique learning styles, preferences, and abilities. Educational
programs should be designed to accommodate different learning needs and
provide personalized learning experiences. Students may requires academic
support, counseling, special education and services.
F. Educational philosophy explores the fundamental purpose of education asking
questions such as what is the goal of education? What is the goal of education? What
is the role of school in society? What outcomes should education aim to achieve.

5. Define curriculum implementation.


Curriculum Implementation refers to the process of putting into practice the planned
educational curriculum in a teaching and learning environment. It involves the written
curriculum, which outlines educational goals, content, and learning experiences into
actual classroom practices and services.

6. Discuss the importance of curriculum implementation.


Curriculum implementation helps maintain consistency in what is taught across
classrooms, schools, or educational institutions. It ensures that all students have access to
standardized education, regardless of their teachers or locations.

7. Describe an enrichment curriculum


Enrichment curriculum is designed to provide additional learning opportunities and
experiences beyond the standard academic curriculum. It aims to challenge and engage
students who demonstrate a high level of interest, motivation, and aptitude in specific
subject or areas of study.
