2.2.1. Describe Processes followed to improve quality of Teaching & Learning

Institute Marks:
A. Adherence to Academic Calendar.
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) prepares academic calendar for
semester each year and notifies all the colleges affiliated to it in the beginning of every
semester. Based on the university calendar of events, our principal prepares Institute
Academic calendar of events and send to all the Heads of the Departments. The academic
calendar includes the dates for registration, the commencement of classes and the last
working day of the semester. The dates for all the internal tests also will be published in the
calendar. Based on the Institute Academic Calendar of events, our Department HOD
prepares Department calendar of events. Based on the department calendar of events, the
faculty prepares the lesson plan before the commencement of the semester. The attendance
register contains the lesson plan and the faculty enters the details of each class conducted
and the topics covered.
