Program Description:

The BS in accounting Information System program provides general accounting education to students
wanting to pursue a professional career in Accounting Information System. The graduates of this
program are qualified to take assessments leading to certifications in Accounting Information System
given by global. It aims to produce competent and ethical professional accountants capable of making a
positive contribution to the profession and society in which they work. The program should provide a
foundation of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that enable graduates to continue to learn and adapt to
change throughout their professional lives.

The course develops students’ communicative competence and enhances their cultural and intercultural
awareness through multimodal tasks that provide them opportunities for communicating effectively and
appropriately to a multicultural audience in a local or global context. It equips students with tools for critical
evaluation of a variety of texts and focuses on the power of language and the impact of images to emphasize the
importance of conveying messages responsibly. The knowledge, skills, and insights that students gain from this

business intelligence (BI). the course will equip students with a managerial overview of business

This course focuses on developing, implementing and evaluating strategic plans for corporate information

strategy are presented and emphasis placed on understanding change management issues in IS planning
for organizations.

INTE1035 – Project Management
This course guides students through fundamental project management concepts skills needed to
successfully launch, lead, and realize the benefits of projects in organizations. The course also includes
discussion of the different types of projects, the project life cycle as well as the intricacies of defining and
monitoring project resources, cost, scope and schedule – through work breakdown structures, the
precedence diagramming method and earned values analysis. In this course, students explore projects
management with a practical, hands-on approach through case studies and class exercise.

INTE1042 – Information Security and Management


This course provides students with a basic and comprehensive understanding of the problems of
information assurance (IA) and possible solutions to these problems, especially the security of information
on computers.
