Difference Between Dimension and Measure:

- Dimension:

- Represents qualitative data, such as categories, names, or dates.

- Used to segment, group, or filter data.

- Examples: Product Category, Country, Date.

- Dimensions often define rows or columns in a chart or report.

- Measure:

- Represents quantitative data, such as numeric values or calculations.

- Used for mathematical computation and aggregation (e.g., sum, average).

- Examples: Sales, Profit, Quantity.

- Measures typically form the basis of analysis and are used in the axes of visualizations.

How to Change Data Type at Sheet Level or Data Pane:

1. At the Data Pane:

- Right-click on the field whose data type you want to change.

- Select "Change Data Type."

- Choose the appropriate data type (e.g., string, number, date).

2. At the Sheet Level:

- Drag the field to the view.

- Right-click on the field in the row, column, or marks shelf.

- Select "Convert to" and choose the desired data type.
