Student Name: Naseem Mohamad Adel Khasawneh St.ID:202110086

A man has to get a fox, a chicken, and a sack of corn across a river.

He has a rowboat, and it can only carry him and one other thing.

If the fox and the chicken are left together, the fox will eat the chicken.

If the chicken and the corn are left together, the chicken will eat the corn.

How does the man do it?

Solution ::

the man can follow these steps:

1. The man takes the chicken across the river first, leaving the fox and corn on the original
side of the river.
2. The man then returns and takes the fox across the river, but he must bring the chicken
back with him to the original side of the river to not leave the fox alone with the chicken
on the other side.
3. Next, the man takes the corn across the river and leaves it on the other side with the fox.
4. Finally, the man returns alone to the river's original side and brings the chicken across.
