What is the CardWorks Technology Engineer Rotational Program and


what will I be doing?
The Technology Engineer Rotational Program will hire technology-focused graduates that
will, as a class, start their training and orientation together each year. You will engage in
an exciting 18-month rotational program with rotations through 3-4 areas in our Data,
Technology & Digital Organization These assignments will be focused in:
Development – Projects focused around developing websites, mobile tools and other
applications
Infrastructure – Infrastructure projects in Development Operations, Database
Administration, Server/Cloud Operations and Contact Center Operations .
Data & Analytics – Includes projects in business intelligence, trend research and reporting
to drive business insights and implementation of data controls
Information Security – Projects include assessment and testing for vulnerabilities in IT
infrastructure and software, evaluating security controls and processes, monitoring suspicious
events and working on identity and access management processes

Responsibilities will vary based upon rotation and team assignment and there are many,
many possibilities in each of these categories. We can’t wait to share more details with

credit card & installment loan servicing websites, as well as mobile app platforms along
with SMS capability using the most modern technologies. After 18 months you’ll have
gained invaluable experience, business knowledge and a better understanding of where

What Qualifications do I need?


We are looking for strong new graduates and early career professionals with the following
qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or related
degree
 Hands-on software development experiences with strong understanding in Object
Oriented Programming concept
 UI development experiences with HTML, CSS with Java Script as a plus
 Relational database concept and experiences with SQL as a plus.
 Strong problem solving skills
 Strong time management and organizational skills
 Curiosity to learn how data drives decision-making

We also ask that you demonstrate the ability to quickly gain this knowledge:
 Ability to gather requirements and apply strong analytical skills to grasp complex rules
to develop system solutions to achieve business objectives
 Effectively work in team environment and collaborate with others with professional
attitude
 Flexibility and adaptability to work at a rapid pace and provide solutions to constantly
changing business needs
 Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, as you’ll interact with business
partners at all levels throughout the company
 Ability to pay attention to details and have a “quality first” mindset which includes
taking the time to ensure you’re doing things right the first time
 Exposure to cloud technologies or keen interest to learn new technologies
 Understanding of Business Intelligence capabilities as well as Machine Learning and AI
OR relevant course work

Where will I be located?


Our technology teams work predominantly out of our offices in Orlando, Florida; South
Jordan, Utah, and Woodbury, Long Island/NY. Depending on the rotation or project,
these positions can allow for a hybrid work model after the in-office training/onboarding
period.
