Here's a detailed guide on how to apply for a Skill India Mission training center,

Step 1: Begin the Journey – Skill India Mission TP

Registration

The first step is registering as a Training Partner (TP) through the Skill India

Mission portal. The Skill India Mission TP registration process is

straightforward but essential, ensuring every center meets standards to deliver

quality training. To start, follow these instructions:

1. Prepare the Required Documents

You'll need the following documents to initiate your TP registration:

Trade License or Company Incorporation Certificate

Aadhar Card

Passport-size photo

Last qualification certificate

Four images of your training institute

Full address with pincode

Contact Number

2. Send Your Documents via Email

Once you've collected the required documents, email them to

[email protected]. Use the subject line, “Application for

Franchise”, to ensure your application is processed promptly. Within 24

hours, a Skill India Mission team member will review your documents and

notify you once the verification is complete.

3. Pay the Franchise Fee

After document verification, the next step is the franchise fee payment.

The franchise fee varies based on the type of training center you'd like to

open. Here’s the breakdown:

Computer Training Institute: ₹10,000

Abacus or Child Care Training Institute: ₹10,000

Drawing and Drama School: ₹10,000

Dance and Music School: ₹10,000

Makeup and Beauty Training Institute: ₹10,000

Spoken English Institute: ₹10,000

Embroidery & Stitching Institute: ₹10,000

Yoga and Gymnast Training Institute: ₹10,000

Business and Commerce Institute: ₹20,000

Multimedia, Animation VFX Training Institute: ₹20,000

Paramedical Training Franchise: ₹25,000 etc. Note: If your course not

shown here contact Skill India Mission helpline number

Renewal Charge: ₹10,000, but it is waived if you enroll more than 60

students annually.

Payment Instructions: Bank details will be provided by email and are also

available on the Skill India Mission portal.

4. Receive Your Franchise Authorization Certificate

Within 48 hours of your successful payment, Skill India Mission will issue

your franchise authorization certificate. This certificate is your official

recognition as a partner in the Skill India Mission, empowering you to

conduct training and issue certificates.

Step 2: Set Up Your Training Center

Once you've completed the registration and received your authorization, it’s

time to prepare your training center. Here’s what you’ll need:

Minimum Area: 500 square feet

Facilities: 1 reception area, 1 theory classroom, and 1 practical classroom (for

computer training institutes)

Equipment: Minimum 10 computers (negotiable)

This setup ensures a conducive learning environment, allowing students to

receive both theoretical and hands-on practical training.

Step 3: Exam Fees and Student Certification

After course completion, students will receive a Skill India Mission-issued mark

sheet and certificate. The exam fees structure is straightforward:

6 Months Course: ₹450

1 Year Course: ₹650

1.5 Years Course: ₹800

2 Years Course: ₹1000

Note: A 5% royalty applies for courses with fees exceeding ₹20,000. This is part

of the mission’s quality assurance, enabling continued access to high-standard

resources and support.

Step 4: Welcome Kit and Marketing Support

To help you get started, Skill India Mission provides a Welcome Kit, including

essential materials such as a license plate, brochures, and banners to boost

your visibility and support local marketing efforts. This ensures you have

everything you need to create an inviting and professional learning environment

for your students.
