Experiment-I
Apply, accessing, importing data/connection to external source using Tableau
Step1: Go to tableau interface and select Microsoft excel or any other file format that are used to connect to tableau. Here tableau can connect to any type of database. Ex: From the tableau interface on the right-side panel download sample dataset, that are available (Sample--superstore). Step2: Go to tableau interface, at bottom you will get the data source, worksheet, dashboard and new story Step3: what ever visualizations that you are going to perform, that can be done in worksheet Data Source: 1. Open Data explorer, go to documents. 2. Open documents and select my tableau Repository. 3. In that my tableau repository open data sources. 4. In data sources select your required file. 5. After extracting the required file from data source to tableau desktop public will display all the relations and tables that are present in excel sheet. From the workbook drag and drop what ever the tableau or contents that should be displayed on the workbook interface Once the tables that are dragged and dropped, it will display all the rows and columns along with the relationship with the two tables.

maintaining relationship, we can do it here. Click on the worksheet it will display all the tables along with the pages, filters and marks.
Pages contains rows and columns where we are supposed to drag
and drop. Drag order date in to the columns and country. Drag the rows and sum of the profit in to rows. To apply Colors, drag Order date in to the Marks card. Now open another sheet and display Quarterly chart
Now Open another sheet and display monthly chart.
