RMHS OVERVIEW

Raw Material Handling System

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS OF RMHS
Activities Equipment Used / Process
Receipt & Unloading of Material By using Wagon Tipplers, Truck Tipplers, Track Hoppers & Pipe
Conveyor all Raw material will be received.
Transportation & Stacking By using Conveyor systems, Stacker Reclaimers,Twin Boom
Stackers the Raw Material will be stored at Yards.
Storage of Material Storage will done at Stock yards & Intermediate storage
Buildings
Reclaiming of Material By using Stacker Reclaimers, Barrel Reclaimers & Pay Loaders the
Raw material will be transported / feed to required customers /
units
Processing of Material Raw material will be processed through Hammer & Roller
Crushers, Vibrating Screens and Weigh feeders.
Basemix Prearation Base mix is the mix of different raw materials of definite size and
proportion stacked in layers in the base mix yard of pre-set
height and length to feed Sinter Plants

⮚ Conveying distance of 23Km in 4MT, 33Kms in 7MT, 37Km in 10
MT, 6Km in EY and 11KM in BP2 RMHS
⮚ Belt width of conveyors ranges from 800 mm to 2000 mm
⮚ Conveying capacity ranges from 300 TPH to 2000 TPH.

SINGLE WAGON TIPPLER

Function : Wagon Tippler is used for unloading of raw materials


received through railway wagons. Material discharged onto the

Special Features: As the name suggests, it tipples two Wagons at a


time. These Twin Wagon Tipplers are the first ones successfully
