PROGRESSIVE ASSESMENT (COURSE WORK) QUESTIONS

1. Briefly discuss how you assessed family function as you cared for patients during your elective
period at the health facility. Reflect on the lessons learnt for your future practice.
2. Understanding the ‘reason for encounter’ is important during patient assessment and care. Describe
how you ensured this understanding of ‘reason for encounter’ for better patient care during your
elective period. Use some illustrative examples of some of the patients you care for.
