About the School of Management and Business Studies:
In School of Management and Business Studies the department of Management and department
commerce was established from the beginning in the Monad University. In the department of
management BBA and MBA program and in the department of commerce B.Com and M.Com
program started in the year of 2010. The sole objective of school is overall development of
students and transforms them to global business leader. For that purpose, we are providing
students' professional skill and industrial exposure along with academic excellence. Our training

B. Ed. and B.El.Ed. at School of Education, Monad University, Hapur is a two year and four year
regular Teacher Training Program approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
The Course curriculum intends to professionally equip teachers with all the requisite theoretical
knowledge and practical skills required by the teachers to handle the challenges posed in
the classroom of the new millennium.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed. and B.El.Ed. Programme

B.Ed. 2 Year The candidate should have passé Bachelor's Degree and /or
Master's Degree with subjects Sciences and Mathematics,
Social Sciences / History/ Geography/ Economics / Political
Sciences / Psychology / Philosophy / Education) / Humanity
Sciences (all Languages and Literature) / Commerce and
secured minimum 50% either in graduation or post-graduation
in any recognize institution /university.
OR
The candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree or
Master's Degree with subjects in engineering and technology /
(with Science and Mathematics as a special subjects) /
Bachelor's Degree with the subjects Management
Engineering / Law / Agriculture / Medical Sciences / All Social
Sciences and secured minimum 55% either in graduation or
post-graduation in any recognize institution/university.

The eligibility criteria for B.El.Ed program should be 10 + 2

University reserves the right to revise the rules and regulations as per needs and that will
be binding on the students

Library
Library is the hub of most intellectual and academic activities of the University. Monad University
has a fully automated and computerized library that uses information technology for all the
activities. The library also has a bank of reference and text books. The university maintains a
separate B.Ed. and B.El.Ed.

Library provides services for faculty and pupil-teacher. It houses a variety of books including
reference books on education and related areas. It is also a member of DELNET (Developing
Library Networking). At the present, it has more than 5000 books on education. In addition,
journals (national and international) related to the field of education allied areas, and a large of
number of magazines are also available. It also maintains “News Clippings” in the field of secondary
education and related areas. Library has fully computerized system of issue and return of books to
the students/faculty and other staff of B.Ed. and B.El.Ed.

ICT Laboratory
ICT Lab is very well equipped with desktops, interconnected in a Local Area Network with
a central server system. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Unique login IDs have been issued to
students and the faculty for safe access. It has a full-time system administrator. Students make
effective use of ICT lab in planning of their lessons and nurture technical skills.

Psychology Resource Centre


Educational psychology lays the foundation for comprehension of principles of education.
To acquaint budding teachers with aspects of psychology and its application with the
students, SOE provides for Psychology Resource Centre in the premises. The Resource Centre
is equipped with mandatory tests, apparatuses, inventories etc. Psychology Resource Centre helps
the budding teachers to understand the mind and behavior of the child in depth.

Math and Science Resource Centre


Math and Science Resource Centre provides an opportunity to bring theory into practice. The
laboratory is fully equipped with required equipment. Students get a first-hand learning experience
by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and
understand different scientific theories and concepts.

Art & Aesthetics Resource Centre


Through art and aesthetic education, students gain creativity and thinking ability, their imagination
widens and it enable students to express their feelings. To achieve this objective, the Art and
Aesthetics Resource Center has been established in the School of Education with various
resources. So that the overall development of the students can be done.

ABOUT US
The year 2013 saw the beginnings of the tectonic shift in perceptions about law as a career from
one of the least attractive careers, to one of the most sought after, with the establishment of the
Monad School of Law Hapur. It was a time of hope for the legal fraternity.
Monad School of LAW Hapur, was established by an Act of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in 2010, U.P. Act
No.23 of 2010 and came into being on 9th of October 2010 to meet up the new challenges in legal
field and to strengthen the vision. word 'Institute' was substituted by the 'University' later, vide an
amendment in the Act in October 2010.This was done to give a comprehensive national character
to the Institute on lines with the other premier Law School of the State.

The Objectives of the Monad School of LAW.


Ÿ To advance and disseminate learning and knowledge of law and legal processes and their role in
national development;
Ÿ To develop in the student and research scholar a sense of responsibility to serve society in the
field of law by developing skills in regard to advocacy, Judicial and other legal services,
legislation, law reforms in the existing laws and the like;
Ÿ To organize lectures, seminars, symposia and conferences, to promote legal knowledge and to
make law and legal process efficient instrument of social development;

INFRASTRUCTURE
As an institution founded to create, acquire, and disseminate legal knowledge, the university
provides for members of the university community an state of the art modern infrastructural
facilities. This infrastructure is the property of the university and is provided for the purpose of
facilitating the purpose of the university including teaching, learning, scholarship, research,
communication, co-curricular and other creative endeavors. The University is committed to provide
excellent infrastructural facilities and environment to advance and disseminate learning and
knowledge of law and legal process and to develop in the students and research scholars a sense
of responsibilities to serve society in the field of law by developing skills in advocacy, judicial and
other legal services and legislation and the like.

ABOUT THE LIBRARY


Library is the knowledge and resource hub of the university. The library is giving every possible
support to the academic and research activities of the university Library is known for its quality and
valuable collections on legal and allied subjects to support the students, research scholars and
faculty members. The fully automated smart library system makes it the state of the art library. The
learning environment and the blend of core print and electronic research resources make it the
world-class law library. The national and international electronic learning resources may be
accessed 24x7 from any corner of the university and even from outside the campus through
remote access service. The library has its own ‘Digital Lab’ having 45 high-end all-in-one desktop
computers for electronic and online research. The scanning, printing and photocopying facility is
also available along with digital lab. The Lab for differently-abled is also been established in the
library to facilitate such students. The plagiarism check service is centrally available in the library to
promote research and academic scholarship. The advanced video-conferencing facility is made
available in the library to conduct online lectures and academic communication around the globe.

About the Department
The Department of Pharmacy was started in 2012 and is duly approved by the Pharmacy council of
India. The Department of Pharmacy is one of the leading pharmacy institutes with state-of-the-art
infrastructure and provides top-notch facilities to budding pharmacists. At present, the department
is offering great opportunities for skilled pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industries and the
healthcare system. Pharmacists play a significant role in managing drug therapy, counselling
patients on the proper use of medications and monitoring drug therapy outcomes.
A new teaching and learning system called ‘Problem-Based Learning’ has been adopted right from
the beginning. This system emphasizes self-learning and small group discussions to provide
students with problem-solving abilities and promote a learning experience suitable for this century.

Diploma Programme
D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy)
"Pharmacy is the science and technique of preparing and dispensing drugs. This science uses
principles of health sciences, biology and chemical sciences to create and dispense pharmaceutical
drugs". D. Pharm is a two-years full-time programme after the 12th standard. The training may
involve the students playing an important role in hospital pharmacy, and community pharmacy as a
pharmacist and assisting the pharmaceutical industry at various levels and prospects. The course
has been designed as per the regulations of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It will enable
students to practice the pharmacy profession in a skilful manner.
DURATION: 2 Years

Career Avenues Options of Diploma in Pharmacy:


Ÿ Diploma in Pharmacy certificate holders may start practising as pharmacists in India.
Ÿ They may work at drug stores in Government hospitals, private hospitals, clinics, community
health centres or private drug stores.
Ÿ In such a work setup, they usually check prescriptions (made by the Doctor), dispense drugs to
patients, give them advice & directions, keep a stock of drugs in storage, keep accounts and
maintain the inventory.
Ÿ Other than working for hospitals or private drug stores, D Pharm certificate holders may even
start their private drug stores.
Ÿ Pharmaceutical companies are also known to hire D. Pharm holders. In this sector, they may
work in divisions/sections like- manufacturing, process control, quality control and marketing.
Ÿ Talking about the marketing sector, one may work for firms involved in pharmaceutical product

The Bachelor of Pharmacy program (B. Pharm) is designed to provide students with

The M. Pharm. course is designed to provide students with comprehensive and practical training

Programs Overview
Eligibility Notes: A Master's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized Indian University or any other
equivalent degree to the satisfaction of the Academic Council of the University, in the relevant field,
with not less than 55% marks in aggregate or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale or equivalent.
Note: Candidates who have qualified in GPAT/GATE are exempted from Written Examinations.
M.TECH
PROGRAMME
M.Tech is a two year postgraduate program in engineering. During the duration of two years,
students are given exceptional knowledge on technologies. M.Tech enhances the skills of a
candidate and makes him or her specialist in a particular area or field. The curricula of our
postgraduate program have been designed to fill the existing gap between the industry and
academia, so that we produce thorough professionals ready to face the challenges of the real

Monad University has large and spacious
academic blocks with fully furnished class
rooms with sufficient seating capacity, state
of the art equipment with multimedia, audio

transport facility is provided within a radius of 90km. The transport schedule is structured in such a
