tech team. 



Today, I’m sharing another 25 tech terms


that you might find helpful.

Agile Development: An iterative
development approach with short cycles of
planning, building, testing, and releasing.

Bandwidth: The amount of data that can be


transferred over a network connection.

API Gateway: Manages traffic between


different APIs and enforces security policies.

Continuous Integration/Continuous
Delivery (CI/CD): Automating code testing
and deployment processes.

Data Migration: Moving data from one


storage system to another.
Firewall: Security system that controls
incoming and outgoing network traffic.

Latency: The time it takes for data to travel


between two points on a network.

Load Balancing: Distributing traffic across


multiple servers to optimize performance.

Open Source Software: Software with


publicly available source code that anyone
can modify and distribute.

Push Notification: An alert sent to a user's


device in real-time.
Regression Testing:Testing existing
functionality to ensure it hasn't broken with
new code.
Single Sign-on (SSO): Logging into multiple
applications with a single set of credentials.
A/B Testing: Comparing two versions of a
feature to see which performs better.

Containerization: Packaging an application


and its dependencies into a container that
can run consistently across environments.
Big Data: Extremely large and complex
datasets requiring specialized tools for
analysis.
Blockchain:A secure, decentralized ledger

technology for recording transactions.

Internet of Things (IOT) : Network of physical

objects embedded with sensors and software

to connect and exchange data.

Data Lake: A central repository for storing all

types of data in its raw format.

DevOps: Collaboration between

development, operations, and security teams

for faster delivery.

OAuth: Open standard for authorization,

allowing users to log in with existing

accounts.
Session Management:Tracking user activity
and data during a website or app session.

Software as a Service (SaaS): Cloud-based


software accessed on a subscription basis.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Testing a


product by end-users before final release.

Web Socket: Real-time communication


protocol between a browser and a server.

Framework: A set of pre-written code or


libraries that provide common functionality
for building software.
