The design for Aurora logo is just an extension of the website design. The font and color
were chosen according the theme of the website. Clicking on the logo will direct you to
the homepage. The logo will be on the top corner of the homepage. The logo consist of
a square and a circle shape.
I have used clouds on the square shape behind the circle, as it represents happy days
and purity. Then in the inside of the circle I have wrote the name of the website, which is
‘Aurora’. Though it’s just a simple word, I wanted to express the feeling, which is why I
have used “wrap text” technique to actually represent an aurora. I have kept the same
theme color, outside is baby blue and inside is baby pink. To add more contrast I added
little white clouds.
The font I have used for the text is ‘Britannic Bold’ and the font sized were 8 pt. Along
with the ‘wrap text’, I have also added “gradient overlay’ to the text to add more color to
it, and to define more I added ‘Bevel & Emboss’. The color I have gradient is white and
baby blue. The logo demonstrated originality and was proof check by using the color-
blindness soft proofing feature in photoshop and is CUD-compliant.
