Question 1: The choices made by Jeff Bezos to create the Kindle Fire and Fire TV show his ability to

think logically and intuitively. His systematic approach to problem-solving and market trend analysis is

indicative of systematic thinking. When Bezos was designing the Kindle he considered the trend toward

digital content. It put Amazon in a position to profit from the e-book market. In order to draw customers

who were interested in jewelry it also employed a cost leadership strategy with the Kindle Fire offering

a lower price than Apple's iPad. This methodical approach reveals Bezoss capacity to foresee consumer

demands and transform well-established sectors. Conversely Bezos likewise thinks intuitively. He

frequently stresses the value of intuition in making choices. Understanding that Senior executives of any

organization may not always be able to solve problems systematically or with informed decisions

(Murray 2018) Bezos launched Fire TV based on his instinct that streaming would overtake other media

consumption options. A key factor in Amazons success is its ability to combine methodical analysis with

gut feeling.

Question 2: Amazon operates in a highly competitive environment. It faces challenges from retailers

like Walmart and Apple. Walmart's dominance in online grocery retailing and Apple's strength in

hardware pose major threats. According to TABS Analytics, Walmart controls online supermarket

transactions. Approximately 30%, while Amazon's share dropped from 33% to 27% (Silverstein, 2020).

Amazon is combating this concurrency by creating new services. For example, Amazon Prime offers

several benefits, including Prime Video and Amazon Music, which create unique value for consumers.

As Bezos asked during product development: “What kind of innovations can we promote that will mean

something to our customers.” This innovative approach sets Amazon apart from its competitors. By

offering more than just products, it also offers an open service ecosystem.
Question 3: To avoid this, Bezos must resist the temptation to rely too heavily on past strategies. And

embrace the multidimensional thinking that led to the success of early products like the Kindle and Fire

TV. Amazon can maximize its potential in the marketplace by continuing to innovate and differentiate

itself from its Prime Video competitors. Streaming and Attracting a Larger Audience ⤠In short, Bezos'

combination of systems thinking and intuition has led Amazon to success in many areas. Meanwhile, as

new markets emerge, Bezos must be mindful of the armadillo's decisions and innovate.
