Project Synopsis
Title of the Project: - INTERNET USAGE ANALYSIS
(IUA)
Problem Definition: - Design a project to Examine Internet Usage trends across age
groups to understand behaviors and preferences. Analysing data from diverse sources, the
project aims to uncover age-specific patterns in device usage, online activities, and
engagement levels. Insights will inform targeted strategies for digital services, marketing, and
educational initiatives.

Team Detail: -The project “IUA” is developed by Ms. Garima, it took


approx. 15 days to develop this project, working 1.5 hours daily. All
modules completed by me only as per my view and knowledge under the
guidance of my teacher Mrs. Tarvinder mam.

Reasons of choosing the Topic: - The need for choosing a


project on internet usage among different age categories arises from the
diverse ways various age groups interact with digital platforms.
Understanding these differences is crucial for developing targeted
strategies in education, marketing, policy-making, and technology
development to meet specific demographic needs effectively.

Objective: -
1. Behavioral Analysis: Analysing how various age groups use the internet,
including devices, browsing habits, and time spent online.

2. Trend Identification: Identifying trends in internet usage across different


age demographics over time.

3. Insight Generation: Deriving insights to inform tailored strategies for


digital services, marketing campaigns educational initiatives, and policy-making.
4. Digital Divide Understanding: Assessing disparities in internet access
and usage among age groups to address digital inclusion Challenges.

5. Impact Assessment: Evaluating the social, economic, and educational


impacts of internet usage patterns on different age cohorts.

6. Predictive Modeling (Optional): Developing models to forecast future


trends in internet usage based on demographic shifts and technological
advancements.

7. Recommendations: Providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders


based on findings to enhance digital literacy, accessibility, and users experience
across age categories.

Hardware Requirements: -A computer/Laptop with operating


system-windows 7 or above x86 64-bit, CPU (intel/AMD architecture),4GB
RAM. And 5GB free desk space.

Software Requirements: -Python3.6.x or higher version, Panda’s


library preinstalled and MS Office installed.
