What is the Tour Package?
- It is a pre-arranged holiday with several components and
sold by an intermediary such as tour operators or travel
agents.
- It is generally associated with “hassle-free” travel
because once it has been arranged, it will make things
easier for tourist, especially in first –time traveler.
- It may be arranged for both domestic and international
destination.

Packages?
The elements and inclusions of a Tour Package
Elements are:
-Validity Date and Duration
Duration
- this element state how long the tour package is
supposed to last. Example: 3Days/2Nights (3D/2N), 4
Days/3Nights (4D/3N)
The Inclusions are:
•Transportation
➢Transit transportation- this refers to transportation
means of tourist to arrive at and depart from the
destination.
➢Transfers – these are the transportation arrangement
for pick-up and drop off of the visitors to and from the
tourists’ accommodation.
ETA ( Estimated Time of Arrival) – which indicate the pick-up time.

-has at least 1
double bed, plus

/or sofa bed designed to

The Inclusions are:
• Meals – the most general type of meal inclusion is the
BREAKFAST.
➢American Breakfast –(toast , fruits and / cereals)
➢Continental Breakfast – (fruits and toast)
➢Filipino Breakfast (Buffet) – ( tapsilog, tocilog etc.)
Types of Services:
• American Services
-also called as “ Plate Service” because the food is already arrange in
individual plates and ready to serve to guest.
• Russian Service
-also called as “Platter Service”, the food is pre-arranged in a platter
with enough serving for one table
• Buffet Service
-it is a types of services consist of a light or heavy meal served from a
central table. It is a self—services type of service where the guest have to
fall in line up to get their food in a buffet table.
