Internship Report Presentation Guideline for Oxford College Butwal (BIM Program)
NOTE: This material is prepared only for BIM students of Oxford College Butwal so
distribution of this material to outsiders is strictly prohibited.
Guidelines for Internship Report Presentation:
1. You will be provided maximum of 3-4 minutes to finish your presentation so
prepare accordingly
2. No of slides is not limited but the presentation should be finished in a given time limit
3. Don’t make your presentation over animated and colorful, white background with
Black ink will be best.
4. Just mention the things that is important , as you know power point presentation simply
means you need to project only those point that has a power on it, you can use a
hardcopy note for yourself if you need for reference, but only project the most
important point and elaborate it for example if you are presenting about computer , in
slide just write computer and say everything about computer
5. All students must be in college uniform and they should be properly dressed as out
of 25 marks of presentation you will be given 5 marks in grooming category.
6. All students must carry admit card
7. Presentation should be deliver in English language
8. After you finish your presentation there will be question answer round so be well
prepared.
9. TRY to mention only 7-8 lines with at most 8-10 word in each line that is each slide
will have maximum of 40- 50 words.
10. As you are only bounded with time limit but not with slides number you can use any
number of slides, for e.g. activities performed can have more than one slides in this case
you will write continue in tile box of a slide until that topic is finished
11. You must mention the slide number in bottom of the slides except the title slide.
12. The things that should be incorporated in you presentation are given below
13. All students must have their developed product in the time of presentation and they
should be always ready to project the product in case of necessity
NOTE: This is just an example but you should mention your own feelings, as we all
have different feelings regarding the same things. Also from examination point of view
also if we all present the same thing with same content it will be negative impact on
your examiner. So be intelligent and show you intelligence.

SLIDE 3: Objective of internship
In this slide you should write short introduction of internship and should
incorporates general and specific objective of internship, in general
objective you will outline and explain some of general objective and in
specific objective you will mention things like your motivation to do
internship in that corresponding organization you should add value to
your point by mentioning the things like your area of interest and why,
your strength etc.

SLIDE 4: INTRODUCTION TO INDUSTRY
In this slide you will mention topmost 4, 5 important points of your industry,
Students those who have done internship In IT will write about IT industry
and those who have done internship in banking will write about banking
industry and so on…
SLIDE 5: Introduction to Organization
In this slide describe the overview, policy, mission, vision competitors of the
organization where you did your internship.
SLIDE 6: ACTIVITIES PERFORMED
In this slide you will list the activities that you have performed during
internship, while the slide is in projection you will explain the overall analysis
of the activities performed for example your view regarding that activity, what
skill and tools you used to perform that concern activity etc.….
You can add different diagram likes use case diagram, the interface of your
application that you have developed or any diagrams through which you can
make your presentation more informative.
SLIDE 7: Learning Outcomes
In this slide you should mention the things you have learned during
the internship for example you will mention the point’s like:
You learn to work cooperatively with you supervisor
You develop skills set and interest in your area

You learn how to manage time
You learn how to communicate with clients
The concerned industry is much more complex than you thought
How to handle the problems etc.
SLIDE 8: Conclusion
In this slide you will conclude your presentation
By mentioning the few word regarding internship, organization on which
you did your internship and personal benefit as well as recommendation (if
any) regarding your internship
For e.g. you will mention the things like:
As I have been in xyz organization, I have experienced and gained the
knowledge about proper industry. In book we acquire only theoretical
knowledge but in actual the pragmatic implementation of the same can be
grasped only by visiting an industry which xyz organization provided to us.
I came to know about how we implement our ideas in practical way
The worker of xyz are friendly and supportive etc.
