GUIDE NOTES TO CARRY OUT THE REPORT OF A PROJECT

It is an individual work. It must be made using a word processor such as Word, Open Office or
Google Editor. It consists of the next elements:

1. COVER
♣ Subject and name of the Secondary School (above).
♣ Title of the project (centre).
♣ Picture related to the project (centre).
♣ Name and surname of the student, school year and group
(below, right).
♣ Date of beginning and finalisation of the project (below, right).

2. INDEX

It shows the different sections with the page number (don’t include
COVER and INDEX!!).

3. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM (extracted from the proposal given by the teacher)
♣ Proposal of work.
♣ Conditions it must fulfill.

4. DESIGN
♣ Individual design (sketch of your solution with measures and material used) (drawing).
♣ Group design (sketch of the selected solution and breakdown drawing) (drawing).
♣ Finalised project perspective (photos).
♣ Front, plan and side view of the object with dimensioning (photos).
♣ Electric scheme, if necessary.

5. PLANNING (operations of the process BEFORE the construction)


♣ Work process (organised sequence of all operations that must be carried out to construct
the project, their possible length, and the distribution of the work among the members of
the group) - ESTIMATION.
♣ Materials list.
♣ Tools list.

6. CONSTRUCTION

Process sheet (diary) about the construction process.

7. BUDGET

The price of used material will be calculated using EXCEL.

8. ASSESSMENT AND CHECK


♣ Personal opinion about the project and how the group worked.
♣ Problems that came up and solutions taken.
♣ Mark you would give to the finalised project.
