Job role: Python Developer (cloud/non-cloud automation, pandas
/ numpy), Mumbai (hybrid, work from office)
Department: IT Infra & DevOps
Location: Mumbai (Sakinaka, Andheri East). Hybrid working (2-3 days from office in a week). Candidate needs to be in
Mumbai.
Immediate joiners preferred.
Work timings Standard 9 hr. shift. Starting around 12 to 1.30pm noon depending upon team flexibility
Functional reporting: Client-side functional manager (Cloud and DevOps team)

LightSapien is a mid-sized IT Services and Consulting firm, providing high quality tech services through our talented team.
For our client project, we are hiring a seasoned Python Flask developer currently. The person will be deployed in the
DevOps team in the tech department of our client (location is Andheri East, Sakinaka, Mumbai office).

Candidate experience requirements (bold italic green points are mandatory):


Candidate must have strong hands-on technical expertise in Python, Flask and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Success
in this position will be demonstrated by delivering high-quality code, meeting project deadlines and collaborating
effectively with cross-functional teams.
1. Creating, deploying, configuring applications using Python
2. Expert knowledge in REST API design and implementation in FLASK. Handling API call like POST/GET/PUT via
Python Flask
3. pandas, numpy, dataframe, request libraries/packages, OOPS concepts
4. Experience of working in Agile framework using Atlassian tools like Jira, Kanban, Confluence
5. Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using Jenkins, Azure
6. Maintain Git/Azure repo workflows for source code management
7. Automated provisioning of Dev/Test/Staging and Production environments using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline
8. Version control systems like GIT, Azure DevOps, SVN etc. (Branching, tagging, Push)
9. Using Pycharm or Visual Studio Code or Jupyter etc.
10. Writing Unit test, Integration test and REST API testing using Postman, SOAP UI
11. Prepare detailed build/test plans with Python for test cases
12. Break down application requirements, propose appropriate architectural solutions
13. Experience with migrating on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service
14. 3+ years developing with scripting language i.e Python with at least 2 years focused on Cloud/Non-Cloud
automation
15. Azure certification (good to have)
16. Linux system administrator skills and TCP/IP network fundamentals
17. Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, GitHub, Stash, SVN, Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, Maven, Artifactory, etc.
18. Good to have experience with Docker, microservices and container-based deployment and service orchestration
using Docker, AKS(Azure Kubernetes Service)
19. Good to have Terraform/ARM orchestration tool deployment on Azure.
20. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field
21. 3-7 years in Enterprise IT or equivalent work experience
