VIII) Copy of agreement made with M/s WIPRO for the execution of component "Optical Fiber in
the campuses” (NA).

IX) Copy of agreement made with M/s RailTel for execution of component "WiFi Faciley"

X) Current status of both the component viz, "Optical Fiber in the campuses" and "WiFi facility”as
on date including their date of completion, commissioning and reasons of non-completion, if not
completed.(Yes).

XI) WiFi facility was being provided under both the components as mentioned above. As such there
was duplication of provision of WiFi under both the components. In this regard, the reasons and
justification of having WiFi facility under both the project components when the component Optical
Fiber in the campus' was already covering several services including WiFi facility. (NA).

XII) It has been seen from the record the OPEX model was approved for implementation in Central
Universities through M/S Railtel, the reason may be explained for carring out the passive network
through NICS. (NA).

XIII) Details of fund released/ Asset created under CAPEX model implemented by NICSI and to what
extent these assets have been used for implementation of project under OPEX. (yes).

XIV) Current status of project of implementation of WiFi along with reasons for non-completion of
project, if any. (yes).
