and PTP configuration are under the menu “Switch”, while Clock Server-related configuration
such as GPS configuration and unicast configuration are under menu “Clock Server”. Please note
that both switch module and clock server has individual restart button.

Password: The password of the user. The allowed string length is 0 to 31. Any printable characters
Privilege Level: The privilege level of the user. The allowed range is 1 to 15. If the privilege level value
is 15, it can access all groups, which means it grants the full control of the device. By default
setting, most groups belongs to privilege level 5 that has the read-only access, which privilege
level 10 has the read-write access. And the system maintenance (software upload, factory
defaults etc.) requires user privilege level to be 15. Generally, privilege level 15 can be used
for an administrator account, privilege level 10 for a standard user account and privilege level 5
Note: Please change the user name and password for security reasons after login.

IP Interface
VLAN: The VLAN associated with the IP interface. Only ports in this VLAN will be able to access
the IP interface. This field is only available for input when creating a new interface.
Enable: Enable the DHCPv4 client by checking this box. If this option is enabled, the system
will configure the IPv4 address and mask of the interface using the DHCPv4 protocol. The
DHCPv4 client will announce the configured System Name as hostname to provide DNS lookup.
Address: The IPv4 address of the interface in dotted decimal notation. Mask Length: The
Click on Add Interface . Add the VLAN and IP details shared for remote login by planning team.
Click on Add Route. Enter gateway details and route to be allowed. Routing details need to be shared
by planning team and same needs to be configured. As seen in reference screenshot below default
route has been used and same can be configured as per planning inputs.

Check login through browser with management IP in Netact/OSS . Enter login credentials and
Ensure to save configuration as startup configuration once all changes has been executed.
Note: The IP should be set in the segment 192.168.197.xx in VLAN1 because switch

timeout for receiving announce messages on the port. Range is 1 to 10. Dlm: Configurable
member delay mechanism: The delay mechanism used for the port: “e2e”-End to end delay
Ordinary/Boundary clock. In a transparent clock all ports use the same delay mechanism,
MPR: The interval for issuing Delay_Req messages for the port in E2e mode. This value is announced
from the master to the slave in an announce message. The value is reflected in the MDR field in
the Slave. And it is also the interval for issuing Pdelay_Req messages for the port in P2P mode.
