9. A body of mass 12 kg is suspended by a coil spring of natural length 50 cm and a force

down further stretching the spring to a length of 59 cm and then released, what is the
frequency of oscillation of the suspended mass? (Neglect the mass of the spring.)
10. A horizontal spring block system of mass M executes SHM. When the block is passing
though its equilibrium position, an object of mass m is put on it and the two move
together. Find the new amplitude and frequency of vibration.
