Configuring vShield Manager

• You need one vShield Manager server for each vCenter Server system
used in the resource group.
• vShield Manager is a virtual appliance that can be easily configured.
To do so:
1. Log in to the console with the user name admin and the password
defaul七 ．
2. At the prompt, type enable.
3. Type default to enter setup mode.
4. Type se七up to begin the setup p「ocedure.
5. Enter the correct network configu 「ation information.
6. Type y to save the configuration.
7. Type exit.

Each vCenter Server in each resource cluster must be connected to a vShield Manager server. At this
point in the procedure, VMware recommends that you co而gure all of the vShield Manager servers.
