If you face error while extension, if disk is restricted to certain size then u can extend that you need to create new pv
Steps:
1. vmcontrol
2. Disks -> create
3. Give server name
4. Create data disk
5. Yes
6. Login to server
7. lsblk -> can see new disk created
8. pvs
9. pvcreate /dev/sdc -> create new physical volume
10. pvs -> check new pv created r wt

Steps:
Check if its sp or e2e in case of sp we can extend the mount
In case of e2e Business justification is needed, size should not exceed 40Gb, if its hotflix server
max is 120gb

=============
**Steps to do at source server side.**
3. To share the file between servers we have to make entry in exports file.
cat /etc/exports
vi /etc/exports

Address: 10.177.33.120
lddbme1.wdf.sap.corp canonical name = vlcdbme1.wdf.sap.corp.
exportfs - a -v cmnd in source server (by this even after reboot permissions wll be retained)
4. rcnfsserver restart.
1. Login to db server.
2. nslookup lddbme1.
cat /etc/fstab
vi /etc/fstab
:wq!
4.rcnfs restart
5.rcnfs status.

if u want to get output of whole landscape for a single command you can get it via dlmcli
execution of os commands --> timezone/date -->input all 10 servers
run pre definded script
dlmcli ->
1 .provide root access
2 .bond configuration
if you have one sid and you need to get all the servers running with that sid--> for this also we can
use dlmcli
for finding type of instance like ci, cs, db for this
sudo access
for providing access to user who doesn't have access to that server
two types : root .sidadm
root user will have both root and sidadm access
sidadm user willhave only sidadm access.
what is root access : access for all files.
sidadm access : b2eadm
we can provide dci access also from dlmcli....>if the user is not present in DCI group
1. template should have all the needed details r else newreply , AA -> give template to fill
2. whether the user is in ldap group(dci group) ---> ldapsearch -x uid=c5304608
3. whether approval is provided by opc.
4. provide access via dlmcli
5. Sudo - userid (check whether access gave r wt)
6. Sudo -i (check root access)
7. after providing access we have one file where we can check whether that user has access or
not.
cat /etc/sudoers.d/sudoers
If they need sidadm access check 1st with below cmd (its asking pwd so no access, provide
access)

8. vi /cat/fstab -> make entry of lv created(refer source server and do, while making entry)

If installation fails
1. cd /opt/
2. ls
3. Check for the backup file -> bowbridge bowbridge_BAK_2018-11-15_04-07-08 (backup file will be like this)
4. Remove file by: rm -rf bowbridge_BAK_2018-11-15_04-07-08
5. Same steps install latest or particular version
Post Check:
cat /var/tmp/bb_vlgciy5w.txt | grep Symlinked
If you get output as: Symlinked /opt/bowbridge_NEW/lib/libbbvsa.so.3113856 to /opt/bowbridge_NEW/lib/libbbvsa.so -> then installation is successful
Steps to install:
1. Login to server
2. cd /sapmnt/av/mcafee/ENS - common path here they will add mcafee
3. Run this Script: ./mcafee_ENS_installer.sh
Deinstall
1. cd /sapmnt/av/mcafee/ENS
2. ./trend_de-installer.sh
vlgai2cc3:~ # cat /opt/bowbridge/mcafee/EngineDetails |head -2 => can see the current version which it installed
Product Version: 3.1.13
Build: 856
vlgai2cc3:/sapmnt/av/bowbridge # ./deinstall_bb.sh => will uninstall the current version ( ./deinstall_bb.sh -> this take it from ls cmd)
vlgai2cc3:/sapmnt/av/bowbridge # cd latest => moving to latest directory (if they ask latest go to latest directory r else go to the version directory they want)
vlgai2cc3:/sapmnt/av/bowbridge/latest # ./bb_installer.sh -u=v91adm -g=sapsys => to install ( -u=cc3adm in this remove the old sid and give new sid in this
case cc3 is sid)

Steps:
Steps:
1. Go to NIP tool
2. Search old server u will get list of all ip select any ip which is free
3. nslookup ip which u choose => to conform that ip which u choose is not assigned to any server
4. In jump host execute this cmd => sudo -u rcuser sudo /home/adminhosts/dnsmanage.py register --name new_servername --zone wdf.sap.corp --ip
10.98.20.97(this ip can be choose from nip tool see which ip is free that u take)
5. nslookup 10.98.20.97 => to check whether ip assigned r wt
We should config ip
6. Login to old server
7. Cd /etc/sysconfig/network
8. Cat ifconfig-vlan500
9. Vi ifconfig-vlan500
Make below 2 entry in above file
IPADDR_ldcivt7='10.98.20.97/23' => servername - new, ip - which new assigned
LABEL_ldcivt7='VT7ci' => VT7ci - give sid and instance
Load
10. rcnetwork reload vlan500

1.) Run vmcontrol on a DLM adminhost (eg. dlm-lts01 or dlm-lts02) and choose Disks ->
EXTEND/UPSIZE and provide the server name.
4.) If finished connect via rcssh to the remote server and have a look via dmesg command if disk size
has changed.

confirm that the zone u are trying to reboot is the part of this host
zoneadm -z <zone_name> reboot
in this case zone_name was usciu8r
Login to the host from global server fs4347 is also not working , we need to reboot usciu8r .
Kindly check and let us know whether we can go with immediate reboot else please provide us 30 minutes

If I-User’s or D-User’s unable to access the samba share but ODC Team able to access.
In this case check domain of server. If server is in devsys request the reporter to access samba share by
giving hostname with fdqn Suspecting desktop able to read hostname with fqdn because of restrictions.

Zone Migration
------------------
Wiki : https://wiki.wdf.sap.corp/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?spaceKey=DLM&title=VM+Movement
1. Pre-checks :
if Server is up
Check its zone
sudo -i
gcloud compute instances list | egrep -i "vlgciuyu|vlgdbuyu" // Change hostname as per
reqd
3. go to path
cd /home/adminhosts/vmcontrol/modules
4. For single server , zone migration to europe-west5-a (Change host name & zone as per requirement)
./gcp_vm_move.py --host vlgcixtc --zone europe-west5-a
5. For Multiple Server , zone migration , create .csv file in /tmp/c5299512/ (Create your own
directory in tmp if you want)
(a) vi zon.csv
(b) Type server name and target zone in below format only (Dont forget to write name, zone in 1st
line)
c5330723@dlm-lts01:/tmp/c5299512> cat zon.csv
name,zone
vlgcibkp,europe-west5-a
vlgcsbkp,europe-west5-a
vlgdbbkp,europe-west5-a
vlgcidcn,europe-west5-a
vlgcsdcn,europe-west5-a
vlgdbdcn,europe-west5-a
Once, Server is up .
Cross check the zone, using below command.
gcloud compute instances list | egrep -i "vlgciksj|vlgcsksj|vlgdbksj"
C:\Windows>HOSTNAME
vwgsp61ee0
C:\Windows>uptime
\\VWGSP61EE0 has been up for: 5 day(s), 17 hour(s), 11 minute(s), 47 second(s)

DB steps
Failover
Ask if everything is ok if yes then - crm resource migrate rsc_vip_gcp-primary slave server
Reload resource
Wait 5min
SAPHanaSR-showAttr - master it will be demoted then state frim
status
Then if everything is fine - Change the automated register value to 'false'
