How to Connect DBeaver to Data Cloud Environment

*Prerequisites: Have DBeaver installed onto your computer. Have access to Bobcat Data Cloud
environment.

Step 1:
 Navigate to the ‘Database’ tab at the top of the screen
 Use the drop down and select ‘New Database Connection’
 In the search bar, search for ‘Salesforce CDP’
 Select ‘Salesforce CDP’ and click ‘Next’

Step 2:
 Locate your Salesforce security token
o If you don’t know this you can reset it by going to Bobcat’s Salesforce
environment, logging in, clicking your profile, then settings, then on the left hand
panel click Reset My Security Token

Step 3:
 Use the ‘Connect by’ button options and select ‘URL’
 Use this URL as the JDBC URL: jdbc:queryService-jdbc:https://login.salesforce.com
 Enter in your username used to sign into Bobcat’s Data Cloud environment
 Enter in the password used to sign into Bobcat’s Data Cloud environment followed by
the security token. Example: notagoodpasswordkslsndlsiden
 Click ‘Finish’
 Your DBeaver connection should now be successful to Bobcat’s Data Cloud Environment
