Full Stack PHP Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack PHP Developer with extensive experience in CodeIgniter, WordPress,
and Core PHP to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP
development, capable of working across various platforms and frameworks. This role requires a proactive
developer who can work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

 CodeIgniter Development:
o Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using the CodeIgniter framework.
o Implement and manage RESTful APIs.
o Optimize CodeIgniter applications for maximum speed and scalability.
 WordPress Development:
o Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
o Customize and extend WordPress functionalities to meet project requirements.
o Ensure high-performance and availability of WordPress sites.
 Core PHP Development:
o Write clean, scalable, and efficient PHP code from scratch.
o Develop and integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
o Design and develop relational database systems and their web interfaces.
 General Responsibilities:
o Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of web applications.
o Troubleshoot, test, and maintain web applications to ensure optimal performance.
o Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain
current.
o Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle and ensure timely project delivery.
o Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with CodeIgniter, WordPress, and Core PHP.
 Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in PHP with strong experience in CodeIgniter framework.
o Advanced knowledge of WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
o Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
o Experience with MySQL databases, including database design and query optimization.
o Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
o Experience in developing and integrating APIs.
o Ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
 Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex
issues.
 Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
 Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
 Experience with other PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
 Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js or Vue.js.
 Familiarity with web security, performance optimization, and debugging.
 Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
 Understanding of SEO best practices for web development.

Education:

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
