General objectives:
 Work with 2D drawing tools: Line, Arc, Circle;
 Apply the different types of geometric constraints and parametric dimensions;
 Use 3D modeling tools: Extrude, Revolve, Chamfer, Fillet, Hole, Rib,
Rectangular Pattern, Mirror.
To start a new job, click New or CTRL+N.

Before starting a new job, let's start by setting one of the program options:
Remove Grid Lines;
Automatically project the source;
Automatically edit the Dimension;

To reset these options click the Tools menu and select Application Options.

Select the Sketch tab. Under Display remove all options.

Turn on the Autoproject part Origin on Sketch create option to automatically

project the source so that you can start the geometry of a new sketch from that
point. Enable auto-scale sketch geometries on initial dimension to
automatically scale the initial sketch according to the first dimension defined.

approximate way).

Constraints

Constraints are geometric relationships that can apply to entities in

an individual way or in conjunction with other entities. There are
restrictions that the software automatically applies to sketch.
Constraint symbols define their type. You can add or edit constraints
and dimensions to define the desired shape of the sketch. Before
adding constraints, study the sketch to decide which restrictions are
necessary and appropriate.

Sets the perpendicularity between two sketch lines.

Sets the parallelism between two sketch lines.

The Tangent constraint defines the tangency between entities, including end
of Splines, with other entities. One entity can be tangent to another, even if it does
not physically share a point.

Makes coincident two points, or a point and an entity. When this restriction is
applied to centers of circumferences, arcs, or ellipses, the result is the same as the
Concentric constraint.

The Concentric constraint defines concentricity between two arcs, circles, or

ellipses.

The Collinear constraint determines the collinearity between two lines.

The Horizontal constraint allows you to define a parallelism relationship

between a line or a pair of points, with the XX axis, of the current sketch coordinate
system.

The Vertical constraint allows you to define a parallelism relationship, between

a line or a pair of points, with the YY axis, of the current sketch coordinate system.

The Equal constraint defines the same radius to arcs or circumferences, or

length equal to line segments.

The Symmetric constraint allows you to define a symmetry relationship

between lines or curves relative to a selected line. The selected segments are
reoriented according to the constraint applied.

and select all mode.

The Join, Cut, and Intersect options specify whether extrusion is in join, subtraction,
or intersection mode with another shape. In the Feature base, you cannot access
these options:

Join – Adds volume to the shape. Not available in sets.

Cut – Removes volume to shape.

Intersect – Creates a shape with the shared volume between the feature
to create and the rest of the template. The material not included in the
intersection is deleted. Not available in sets.

In Output, you specify whether the shape to create, being in solid mode or a surface:

Solid - Creates a new solid from an open or closed profile. Open profiles
are not possible to select for the base feature;

Surface - Creates a new surface from an open or closed profile. These

surfaces can be used as building surfaces, serving to delimit solid shapes or to
cut solid models by those same surfaces.
In Extents, you choose the extrusion finish method. Extrusion can be defined by a
distance, ending in a plane, face of a model, or surface:
Distance – It is the default method. A distance for extrusion is
defined. The final face of the extrusion is parallel to the sketch
plane. Click or in to specify the desired direction or click
to define an extrusion in both directions;

To Next – Selects the closest face to the model to finish the

extrusion according to the specified direction. Click or in
to set the desired extrusion direction. Click Terminator to
select a solid or surface, where you will finish extrusion. In the
base feature you cannot access this option;

To – In a template, click and select a face, plane, or

surface to define the end of an extrusion. If you select a face
or surface and these entities do not encompass the entire
region to extrude, you can enable the to define these
entities as extended entities so that they can absorb all
extrusion.

From To – In a template, click and select a face, plane,

or surface to define the end of an extrusion in both directions.
