You are on page 1/ 2

Good morning my dear principal, my dear teachers and my dear

friends.

We are the Year 4 English Group and we are glad to present to

you our English broadcast for today.

As we are approaching the final exams, it is only necessary to

present to you some useful tips on how to study.

Following effective study tips can help reduce stress and

improve your grades significantly so please enjoy listening to
them:

The first tip is to: Make the Most of Class Time

During class, pay very close attention to your teacher as they will
always be dropping hints and highlighting the important parts to focus
on for the exam.

And if something does not make sense, do not shy away from asking.
Raise up your hand and go for it. Trust me... teachers love that.
2. Tip number 2 is to: Create Flashcards

One of the top study tips for most students includes rewriting
important points on flashcards. Flashcards also let you quiz yourself
without the help of others. Digital flashcards and study apps are
another way to organize and review the material.

3. Tip number 3 is to: Stay Organized

Use a planner to keep track of deadlines, dates, and times so you do

not forget anything important. Make a to do list day by day and plan
out the time for a study schedule that works around your other daily
activities.

4. And last but not least: Take Good Care of Yourself

Filling up on junk food to save time is not the smartest strategy for
studying. Instead, keep a balanced diet of “brain foods” like fresh
fruits and vegetables, balanced with protein and healthy fats to fuel
your mind. The same goes for sleep: Plan to get a good night’s rest the
night before the exam.

I hope you’ve learned something from these tips.

Lastly, in this hot weather, we all scream for Ice Cream. SBS
has finally brought to you Picolé for ice cream. Join us
tomorrow in the break to celebrate the end of the year and enjoy!

Thank you for listening to our broadcast. We hope you have a

lovely day!
