Senior Platform Services Engineer

Job Summary
 We are looking for talented engineers working in modern Cloud first environments. As a Platform
Services Engineer, you will develop best-in-class solutions while working with an energetic and
innovative team. You will be responsible for the capacity, availability, performance and security of
the cloud-based platform which delivers Enumerate services (SaaS) to customers. The engineers will
assist with leading the methodology, development, automation and documentation of cloud-based
services and roadmaps. Additionally, they will be integral to the support for all associated
technologies, software deployments, CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, alerting, and automation
of processes as required, including disaster recovery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 Utilize infrastructure as a Code tools, such as Terraform, to automate deployment of cloud-native


and scalable Platform Services
 Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
 Support the development, test, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of large-scale, distributed
platform software
 Participate in the automation, monitoring and maintenance of cloud-native environment
 Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall
system health.
 Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for
changes that improve reliability and velocity.
 Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
 Maintain and administer data stores ensuring proper backup, replication, and failover strategies.
 Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into functional architecture and software designs to
solve customers use cases.
 Collaborate with application developers in the improvement of developer experience and toolsets.
 Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through
deployment, operation, and refinement.
 Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing
software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
 Serve as an advocate of good security practices.
Requirements:

 3-5 years experience with enterprise-level SaaS applications within AWS


 Azure experience required. Kubernetes Experience required.
 Expert with Linux and Windows Server administration
 Proficient in Kubernetes
 Experience in AWS, large-scale web services, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform,
CloudFormation etc.)
 Experience with application web services, and serverless applications (Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, EKS,
etc.)
 Good knowledge of the hosting requirements for hosting SAAS applications on the
React/Node.js, .NET and PHP stacks
 Experience with load testing and capable of developing and creating automated load test scripts as
part of the CI/CD pipeline.
 Experience with SOA, or microservice architecture (RabbitMQ, distributed tracing)
 Extensive knowledge of cloud network technologies
 Extensive knowledge of technology processes and ability to create highly automated workflows for
software development and operations, including the following areas:
 DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps and Terraform/Teragrunt
 Operations tools (Elastic Cloud, New Relic, CloudWatch)
 Managing container-based infrastructures such as Docker and AWS serverless infrastructures such
as lambda and Kubernetes
 Managing and analyzing existing processes to identify automation opportunities across multiple
platforms and technologies.
 Must have scripting languages PowerShell, Bash, and Python
 Must have experience creating and maintaining pipelines (Preferred Azure DevOps) for mobile
applications deployment for IOS and Android.
 AWS certification required
 Kubernetes Administrator certification is preferred
