1. Draw the energy band diagram for a) p-n junction under forward and reverse
bias conditions and b) n-p-n transistor with and without battery conditions.
2 Consider a p-n junction at 300 Kwith doping concentration of Na =1.5 X
1018 cm and Np 2 X 10 cm'in the pandn side, respectively. Determine
the contact potential across the junction. Assume intrinsic carrier
