9. (a) (i) Assume that you want to withdraw cash from an ATM system. There are two 7 HOTS 1 1
conditions associated with the given scenario. They are,
Case 1: Authenticate the user by inserting card and their corresponding
Pinno.
Case 2: Verify the withdrawal amount should not exceed their daily limit.
Apply decision table ; a black box testing for the given scenario.
(ii) It is found that setting misinterpreted values to control parameters of 7 HOTS 1 2
software, and defects of the hardware equipment and machineries that may
leads to major destruction in terms of money loss and human loss. Discuss in
brief any seven historical events like y2k problem that caused major effects
due to software failures across various domains.

(b) (i) A small-scale company has lacked in facilities with respect to hardware and 7 HOTS 1 3
software resources. The company manager plans to promote its business by
conducting static testing. Discuss the interactive techniques that support to
achieve qualitative work product.
(ii) As a student, you are entering your bio-data details in the Student 7 HOTS 1 6
Management System. It consists of various form elements such as text fields,
radio button, check box, etc. Identify suitable form elements for the given
data viz. name, age, gender, email, phone and hobbies. Write optimal
number of test cases by maximizing coverage of the code structure then
perform test execution to identify the bugs.
10. (a) (i) Explain the V software process model and address its advantages and 7 LOTS 1 1
disadvantages.
(ii) A newly started company plans to expand the business by means of effective 7 HOTS 2 3
utilization of resources, time and cost. As a project manager of that
company, you suggest the steps involved to prepare effort estimation and
also mention the factors affecting the test effort.

(ii) A company with limited infrastructure with respect to physical facilities such 7 HOTS 2 1
as employee and equipment. Identify the roles of various employee cadres
and equipment as per their tasks and descriptions respectively.
