Summary
Can you keep a secret?
I grew up sick.
Let me clarify.

sacrifice to be worthy.⁣
I grew up believing that real love stories include a martyr or demand great

Because of that, I believed it, because I made myself believe it, and I bred the
most masochistic of romantic hearts, which resulted in my illness.
When I lived this story, my own twisted fairy tale, it was unbeknownst to me at
the time because I was young and naïve. I gave into temptation and fed the
beating beast, which grew thirstier with every slash, every strike, every blow.
Triple Falls wasn’t at all what it seemed, nor were the men that swept me under
their wing. But in order to keep them, I had to be in on their secrets.
Secrets that cost us everything to keep.
That’s the novelty of fiction versus reality. You can’t re-live your own love story,
because by the time you’ve realized you’re living it, it’s over. At least that was
the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to.
Looking back, I’m convinced I willed my story into existence due to my illness.
And all were punished.

Post Date:
This book follows Cecelia, a girl who is forced to move away from her hometown
to her father’s small town. Where she has a deal with her wealthy father that she
will work for his company for a year in order to inherit his fortune. However she
soon meets the mysterious Sean who is her boss at work.
Cecelia soon gets tangled up in Seans world as is very oblivious to everything
going on around her.

I really like Cecelia’s character and she truly comes across as a likable character
which can be hard sometimes when a book only really has one female main
character. However, I loved how supportive Cecelia is of the other women in her
life.
Domonic was also an interesting character and I really hope Cecelia end up with
him towards the end of this series. And the only thing I can say about Sean is
WOW talk about an emotional rollercoaster, I mean this man goes from yelling at
her to confessing his love for her in the same breath. Yikes. I’m not really nuts
about Sean but he isn’t the absolute worst.
Its so funny because in most books I want to yell at the characters to mind their
own business and it drove me mad in this book because I just kept on yelling at
Cecelia to ask people questions! Because I had no clue what was happening in
this book. But it was a fun ride and I hope this is just a set up for the plot that is
going to happen in the next two books. And I think except for the ‘Boys of
Tommen’ Books I have read this year I think this may be the best book I have
read so far this year. Purley just because the second I finished this book I
immediately wanted to pick up the next book in the series and get answers to all
my millions of questions.
Overall, I cannot recommend this book more and I would recommend reading
trigger warning before picking it up as this book does deal with some harsher
topics.
