Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)


Degree in Sience/Computer engineering from an accredited college or university
Hands on Experience in WAF technology like Cloudflare, Imperva, Redwares ett.
Hands on Experience in Next (Physical &VM series) Generation firewall Solutions (Palo Alto,
checkpoint, Cisco FTD, FortiGate etc.)
Experience in supporting Firewall UTM features, IDS/IPS
Experience in supporting and deploying Web Application Firewall and DDoS security solutions.
Good knowedge and hands-on experience on Proxy -Websense/ Bluecoat/ Zscaler technologies
Demonstrated understanding of information security concepts, standards, practices, induding but
not limited to firewalls, intrusion prevention and detection, TCP/IP and related protocols, device
Must-Have monitoring and log management and event monitoring/reporting.
strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, access control lists, firewalls, VPN, NAT and
network traffic analysis
Must have good experience working in managing End Point Security Estate Products (arowd strike,
Carbon black, MCAfee etc.)
Antivirus Antimalware basic to Advance level of support security operations
Enterprise security applications performing administration implementation configuration upgrading
and policy creation.
Understanding and experience in DLP solutions (MCAfee, Symantec, Forcepoint etc.)
Experience in writing solutions, proposals for customers and practice in cyber and network security.
Ability to think out of the box and learn fast
Understanding of cloud platforms of Microsoft Azure, AWS
Preferred professional certification include; CCNP, CISSP, SSCP, CEH, GIAC, Security +, OSCP
Good-to
Have
Understand1ng &experience in Email Gateway security tools (Mimecast, Cisco iron Port, Proofpoint)
A flair for writing consultancy reports and white papers articles
