3.2. Configuration File

The device has 4 following configuration files in memory.
Location File Name Description
Internal config_factory.txt  Used at factory reset.
Memory config.txt  Same as «config_factory.txt» immediately after firmware downloaded.
 Synced with config.txt in SD card.
SD Card config_factory.txt  If this file exists in SD during boot, the internal «config_factory.txt» file is
overwritten as that of SD and the files in SD are deleted.
 If «do_not_delete_config_factory.txt» exists in the same location, it is not
erased (for changing multiple device settings).
config.txt  When an empty SD card is installed, it is automatically created with the
contents of internal config.txt.
 Updated in this file if settings change during operation.
 If the internal and external «config.txt» contents are different at boot time,
the internal config.txt file is changed with the contents of this file.
(Device works according to the setting in SD card.)

The configuration files are managed in the following order.

1. If existing «config_factory.txt» in the SD card, copy it to the internal memory.
2. If not existing «config_factory.txt» in the internal memory, create it using internal «config.txt».
3. If not existing «config.txt» in the SD card, create it using «config.txt» in the internal memory.
4. If «config.txt» in the SD card is different with «config.txt» in the internal memory, copy «config.txt»
from the SD card to the internal memory.
