3.1 Center setting

Where to find? → quick setup

1) For CMSV6:
Platform: 1 (you can choose other number. The device can support 8 platforms at the same time.)
Enable: on
Platform: Subiao-1 (For AI model, need to choose Subiao, Subiao-1/-2/-3)
Main IP: input IP address
Port: 6608
Save!

2) For Hetu platform:

Platform: 2 (you can choose other number. The device can support 8 platforms at the same time.)
Enable: on
Platform: Subiao-2 (For AI model, need to choose Subiao, Subiao-1/-2/-3)
Main IP: input IP address
Port: 20021
Save!

3.2 Terminal Setting

PhoneNo: input the deivce number which is already in the platform account.
(important for the platform to recognize the device!)

3.3 3G/4G/WIFI setting

Where to find? → system setup → network

Set 3G/4G info according to SIM card

Set WIFI info according to WIFI

For connection WIFI hotspot, choose Station mode, input WIFI ID and password.
For creating WIFI hotspot, choose AP mode.

3.4 Check online or not

Press “info” on remote control.

If it shows <dial successful> , it means 3G/4G connection is ok.
If it shows GPS signal ands WIFI signal, then GPS and WIFI connection is ok.
If it shows platform name, then the device connects to platform suceessfully.

4. AI Installation and Setting

4.1 ADAS configuration

4.1.1 ADAS camera

Here we call it ADAS cam.

4.1.2 Installation position of ADAS cam

Use 3M glue to paste the ADAS cam to the windshield.
Put the ADAS cam in the middle in horizonal level. Move it up and down or adjust the len angle according to
different vehicle types. For small vehicle, put it a little high. For high vehicle, put it low.
Make sure the green horizontal line same position as Horizon
(Note: don't let it be affected by the wiper and don’t block driver’s sight)

4.1.3 ADAS Menu Setting

Where to find? → Quick setup → AI setting → ADAS alarm

 Click “Enable” to make this function work.

 Aisle is default to be “1”, you can set it to other channels.
 If you want it record alarm videos or take photos, click “video enable” and “snap enable”.
 You can set how long pre-alarm and after-alarm for alarm video on “DelayTime” and “duration”.
 Upload interval is default to be 600 second
 First alarm speed: when speed reaches this value, ADAS function starts, then it gives alerts and send
events to server. Suggest to be 30km/h.
 Second speed: when speed reaches this value, in addition to alerts and events, it also send
evicence(video and photo) to server. Suggest to be 50km/h.
 ADAS Calibrate: set according to vehicle size to improve accuracy.
 Details setup: set details for different functions, like forward colision.

ADAS Calibrate: for high truck, pls choose “Big car”; for small car like van, choose “small car”.
There is default parameter for such vehicles to make sure accuracy. Pls don’t change it by yourself.
If it is still not accurate, pls contact engineer to change accordingly.

Details setup: Click the Function that you need. Change the parameter to change the sensitivity.
Lan distance: the length that vehicle is departing the path.
Start Threshold: how long it starts to give alert. Counting in “ms”(millisecond).

4.1.4 Lane Departure warning setting (If needed)

For lane departure warning, it give alerts to driver when he is turning left/right and he doesn’t turn on the
left/right light at that time. This help to avoid collision from following vehicles and help to change driver’s
bad behaviors.
At first, connect sensor line to left-turn and right-turn signal line.
The power from signal line should be 5V-24V. SENSER-IN3 connected to the right-turn signal, SENSER-IN2
connect to the left-turn signal.

The set in the DVR device alarm settings as below:

(After setting, when driver changes lane and doesn’t turn on the correct light, it will give an alarm “Lane
departure warning” to remind driver to turn on light correctly.)

4.2 DSM configuration

4.2.1 DSM camera

Here we call it DSM cam.

4.2.2 Installation position of DSM cam

Make sure driver’s head is in the middle of image, and DSM camera is faced directly to driver’s face,
deviation need to be within 30 degree.

4.2.3 DSM Menu setting

Parameter meaning are same as ADAS.
Remark: In office test, click “AI Debug”. In vehicle installation, don’t click “AI Debug”.

Test with the default parameter st first. And change paramater according to situation.
Start Threshold: how long it starts to give alert. Counting in “ms”(millisecond).
Interval: time lag between 2 same events. This is to avoid keeping alert for same behaviors, which will
annoy driver and send too much events to server. Counting in “seco”(second).

4.3 BSD configuraion

4.3.1 BSD camera

4.3.2 Installation position of BSD cam

4.3.2.1 Back Side BSD camera

UP & Down Angle: BSD camera is better to be fixed in back side of vehicle. Height: 1.5~2 meters. The
detection area will be affected by the vehicle height and length, so need to adjust camera to cover the
blind area under BSD camera as big as possible and at the same time can view the point that is 1~ 2 meters
far from the vehicle head.
Left & Right Angle：adjust the the len so that the body of vehicle covers 1/4 of whole camera vision zoom.

4.3.2.2 Front Side BSD camera

Install font side camera as high as possible, and adjust camera to cover as much as possible of the blind
area.

4.3.3 BSD Menu setting

1) Click “Enable”, choose “Blind spot Attrit” as “Right back”.

(If the camera is installed at left side, choose “left back”. If installed at the front side, choose “front”.)

2) Click “Alarm area” for calibration. Click the point you want to move(for example: left top),

click to move up or down, right or left. Click “ok” to confirm.

Note: the calibration line must be close/covered to the ground. Can Not upper the ground (in the air). The
orientation line need to keep 2M from the Vehicle head.

It is suggested to set “speed value” to be “0km/h”. When the vehicle is under speed of “0~30km/h”, will
BSD function work.
