Personal statement

I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to mathematics


education overseas, drawing upon my six years of experience as a dedicated
math and physics teacher with a proven track record of success instructing
students at A level, IBDP, and GCSE. My commitment to fostering a deep
understanding of mathematical concepts has allowed me to effectively reach
and inspire diverse groups of learners. I am driven by a belief that every
student possesses the potential for excellence in mathematics, and it is my
role as an educator to unlock this potential through engaging and
pedagogically sound practices.

My educational journey has been enriched by the diverse backgrounds of my


students, and I have honed my ability to adapt my teaching methods to meet
the unique needs of each learner. I have seen firsthand how an inclusive and
supportive classroom environment can transform a student’s attitude
towards mathematics, turning apprehension into confidence. In fostering a
culture of inquiry, I focus on encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving,
and collaborative learning, ultimately aiming to equip students with the skills
they will need to navigate both academic challenges and real-world
applications.

Leadership has been a key aspect of my role, and I take pride in my strong
