Offering last week was Attendance last week was Feb. 13, Mon - Ministry Team Meeting, 6 p.m., Board of Elders Meeting at 7 p.m. Thanks for your prayers for these meetings. If you have questions, encouragement, suggestions, etc. for our church, please share them with the ministry team. Your input is welcomed. Feb. 15, Wed.-Youth Bible Study at the church, 7 p.m. Feb. 15, Wed.-All are invited for a morning & afternoon sewing circle at Bowmansville. MCC special project will be sewing kits

Feb. 16, Thurs.-Jr.Youth will be going to MCC's MRC building for a work night. Youth should be dropped off at the Bowmansville Menn. at 5:45 p.m. and picked up at 9 p.m. Feb 17, Fri.-There will be a Friendship Night here in the church fellowship hall at 6 p.m. There will be a meal served as a fundraiser by the Bible Quiz team. In addition to the meal, there will be some spiritual input as well as some games centered around the theme of friendship. All ages are welcome, childcare will be provided following the meal. Especially intended to enable us to invite others, especially those not yet a part of a church family. If you don't sign-up you can still come, but to give us a rough idea of attendance, please sign-up on the sheet on the table in the narthex. Feb. 26, Sun.-Youth Sunday-The subject will be the sanctity of human life. If you have any questions about the content please talk to Travis. Also, donuts, coffee, tea and juice will be available from 8:15-8:45. Donations will go towards the youth fund. Feb. 26, Sun. 2:30 p.m.-There will be an installation service, followed by a meal, at the Weaverland Mennonite Church for Bishop Carl Sensenig who has been called as bishop to oversee the Weaverland-Northeast District upon the retirement of bishop Ken Martin in addition to his role in the Bowmansville-Reading District. Feb. 27, Mon.-What is Restorative Justice? How have Mennonites changed the practice of justice around the world? Learn from two pioneers in the 35-year-old movement: Howard Zehr, Professor of Restorative Justice at EMU, and Lorraine Stutzman Amstutz, Restorative Justice Coordinator at MCC, 7:00 p.m., at Strasburg Mennonite Church. Kevin King(MDS director) will present Preparing Your Congregation for Disaster, a course where youll learn how to prepare and reach out in ministry when storms arise. We will be viewing the DVD series by Anita Keagy of JoyShop Ministries, "Discovering the Joy of Seeking God First". Since we only have time for 4 sessions at the cabin, we will be viewing the 1st session on April 1 during Sunday School in the fellowship hall and the 6th and last session on April 22. All are welcome to view the DVDs Sunday morning, even if you don't plan on attending the retreat. There is a workbook that goes along with the DVDs, that cost will be included in the price of the week-end. More info and sign-up to follow. Happy Birthday!
