former 'Annexure-A' for Selection for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot on Pay Rs. 19,900/- or
Substantive Pay whichever is higher per month in Pay Matrix Level-2 of 7h CPC against 50% DP quota

Sub: -Selection for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot on Pay Rs. 19,900/- or Substantive Pay
whichever higher per month in Pay Matrix Level-2 of 7h CPCagainst 50% DP quota earmarked for

In terms of Railway Board's letter No E(NG)I/2024/PM7/I(E-3454474)Dated.08.04.2024 (RBE

No.32/2024) Selection for the post of ALP In Pay Matrix Level-2 against DP Quota has been introduced
to be filled from staff of other technical department who has the requisite qualification.
Accordingly, it has been decided to hold selection for the post of Asstt.Loco.Pilot in Pay Matrix
Level-2 against 50% DP Quota amongst the eligible regular serving Railway employees (except
RPF/RPSF Personnel) of N.F Railway having the requisite Educational/Technical Qualification and
fulfilling other eligibility criteria in order to fill up the vacancies in the category of Asstt. Loco Pilot in
Pay Matrix Level-2(pre-revised) PB-1+(GP Rs-1900/-) In Electrical Department.

4.Application procedure:
Volunteers who fulfill the above eligible conditions may submit the application in the prescribed
Performa, which is enclosed as Annexure"A" along with attested copy of the Educational Qualification
& SC/ST Certificates(If any) to concerned Supervisor. The Candidates should necessarily fill up all the
columns in the prescribed Performa.
a. The Supervisors & Controlling Officer shall also affix their signature and date while forwarding
application.
b. If no option is received from the staff, it shall be presumed that he/ she unwilling to appear
for the selection.
C. Incomplete application & applications received after the last date i.e after 31.08.2024 shall be
summarily rejected. Immediate action may be taken to circulate the notification to al
concerned includingthose who are on leave/sick list.

5. Selection Procedure:
a CBT (Computer Based Test) Exam system Exam time 2(Two) hours, Total No of questions
110(10questions optional). Total Marks 100.
b. All questions on the CBT exam will be of the objective and multiple-choice type (railway
Board's letter No.E/(NG)/2018/PM 1/4 dated 14.12.2018).There will be 110 questions,
Bilingual(English &Hindi) out of which 10questions (optional )will be on Rajbhasa Candidates
will have to answer any 110 question. if any candidates answer more then 100,the attempted
questions will be evaluated.

All questions on the CBT exam will be of the objective and multiple-choice type.(Railway

d. There is negative marking of 1/3 marks for wrong answer in CBT exam (Railway Boards L/No
