Difference between preservation and conservation
Conservation is the sustainable use of natural resources. Preservation, on
the other hand, means maintaining the present state of something.
Conservation is geared toward repairing the damage. Conservationists
believe that natural resources should be used in a sustainable manner
that will allow for their use by future generations.
Preservation prevents the damage of resources by not allowing humans
to interfere with them; preservationists seek to maintain the current
condition of natural resources.

Difference between pollution and contamination

Pollution is mostly associated with the environment whereas
contamination may occur in a certain body or substance. Pollution is
caused by man whereas contamination may be brought about by man
or contaminants may be inherently present in the environment.
Contamination is often used as term regarding infectious diseases while
pollution is more on environmental concerns. All pollutants are
contaminants. However, not all contaminants are actually pollutants.

Types of green
Landfill Gas: The waste we generate ends up in landfills where it
decomposes and produces landfill gas made of approximately 50
percent methane. This gas can be captured and used to fuel electric
generators.
Biomass : is produced when organic wastes, such as trees, wood
waste and agricultural residues decay.
Geothermal: The source of geothermal power is the heat contained
inside the Earth.
Tidal Power: utilises large amounts of energy within the oceans tides to
generate electricity.
Biofuels: Biofuels are a form of renewable energy derived from
burning plant or animal substances, otherwise called combustion.
