Instruction Note:

For each question, students must write a brief answer explaining the concept and step-by-step
instructions for completing the task. They should include screenshots of each step taken in the
software (Word, Excel, or PowerPoint) to demonstrate how they performed the operation. The
final file should have the question, the explanation, and visual proof for clarity. Students must
write the answers on their own; printout is not allowed.

MS Word:

Q 1. Document Formatting:

○ What is document formatting? Write a short paragraph about any topic. Apply
bold, italic, and underline to some parts of the text. Use different alignments for
each line.

Q 2. Creating and Formatting a Table:

○ What is the use of tables in MS Word? Create a table with 3 rows and 4 columns
to show the number of subjects (e.g., Subject, Teacher, Time, Duration). Add
borders and shade the header row.

Q 3. Page Layout and Design:

○ What is page layout? Write a title, a short paragraph, and add page numbers at
the bottom of the page. Change the page orientation to landscape.

MS Excel:

Q 1. Creating and Using a Chart:

○ What is a chart in MS Excel? Enter data for 4 subjects and the marks of 5
students. Use the data to create a bar chart to show their performance.

Q 2. Basic Formulas:

○ What is a formula in MS Excel? Create a table with the names of 5 items, their
quantities, and their prices. Use a formula to calculate the total cost for each
item.

Q 3. Highlighting Data with Conditional Formatting:


○ What is conditional formatting? Create a student attendance sheet. Highlight
attendance above 90% in green and below 75% in red.

MS PowerPoint:

Q 1. Create a Simple Presentation:

○ What is PowerPoint used for? Create a 3-slide presentation about any topic. Add
a title slide, a slide with 3 facts, and a slide with an image.

Q 2. Adding Transitions:

○ What is a slide transition? Create a 3-slide presentation about any topic. Add a
transition effect to each slide.

Q 3. Adding Images and Text:
