1 Background and purpose


> As in our 2024 business plan budget, we already budgeted for supporting employee development program by conducting training for employees, especially for softskill training
program.
> Training becomes a great opportunity for employees to expand their knowledge and improve their skills in the workplace.

> In accordance with HR Development plan, we would like to start the training with Basic Microsoft Excel due to several reasons as following :

a. many tasks can be done fastly and easily using excel

b. many administrative works are required using excel compared with word, ppt, etc.

c. excel can manage all data well and easily

d. excel can accomodate for processing and managing large amount of data

e. help with number calculations, etc.

f. majority of tasks are required of basic excel practice

> Training & Development yearly budget is IDR 265,500,000, which is budgeted for training such as effective time management, communication skill, leadership, problem solving, etc.
> Through the training and development program, employees can improve working quality, be able to perform and manage well their tasks in a comprehensive way in order to
finalize their work easily and on time, increase productivity and achievement of goals.

2 Training Plan
For this training, we would have the participants and material as following :

a. Participants

> based on survey / interview with employees, we understand that our employees current excel level is in basic

> majority of current job needs for excel is in basic level

> majority of employees in Staff - Supervisor level are requesting for basic excel to address their daily tasks

> by this information, then we would like to conduct the excel training which is started with basic level first

> since many administrative works are handled by Staff - Supervisor level and from survey data collection also majority in these levels who require for excel basic training, then for
the first batch will be participated as following employees :

b. Material

Basic level material is for processing the data in simple formats to analyze financial models using formulas in rows and columns.

For example : statistic function (filtering, merging, sumif/countif/averageif, etc.), function text (change character, combine text, etc.), pivot function, IF function, lookup.

3 Schedule

As for the implementation of this training, we would like to propose several options of schedule as following :

Days : Tuesday & Wednesday > Can focus and concentrate within training (not
distracting with other matters)

Time : 08.30 AM - 5.30 PM

Location : Vendor Venue

Note : Finalized within 1 week

Total hours : 16 > Still can support daily tasks Since after work, there might be several concerns, such as :

Sessions : 6 (3 hours / session) > already tired after working

Days : Tuesday & Wednesday > concentration might be decreasing

2 Date : Nov 12th - 27th, 2024 > take longer time to finalize this training (three weeks)

Time : 5 PM - 8 PM > result might be low

Location : Office

Note : Finalized within 3 weeks

> Based on above information (pros & cons), we would recommend for option 1, started on Nov 12th and finish on Nov 13th.

4 Recommendation

Based on the information collected, we would like to recommend as following :

a. > After review the employee request regarding with Microsoft Excel training, we would like to propose this training as our company's regular program for our employees.

> After basic level, we can extend the curriculum with intermediate and advance level for Assistant Manager - GM level as well.

> Evaluation will be needed such as for vendor, material, cost, etc.

> Passing grade for this training is minimum ≥ 70 and can get certificate.

> If employees do not pass the test, will not get certificate and all costs arising from this training will be the responsibility of the employees.
