Common Reasons For Lack of Focus and
Attention in Kids
Lack of Sleep :
It is hard to remember and learn things.
Inadequate sleep also cuts into working memory.
Children need 9-10 hrs of sleep each night.
Poor Nutrition :
The brain requires fat and muscles need protein.
Unbalanced diet → Insufficient supply of vitamins and Minerals.
Dehydration :
Not drinking enough water.
Even 1% lower than optimal hydration can cause lack of focus.
Family Stress :
If the parents talk about their problems without considering the
boundaries, then the child will be overwhelmed.
Child is upset and may experience anxiety.
