This journal assignment will help you reflect upon what you have learned in this course.
In your journal entry, please discuss the following:
How can you develop and/or adopt a business or organizational strategy to motivate and inspire
employees (whether you are in a formal leadership position or you are working as a fellow
employee among co-workers)? How can you develop and/or adopt a business/organizational
strategy to guide your own career as a leader?
Given our current societal climate (which can also include the impacts on organizations and
businesses), what steps can you take to exercise leadership while encouraging and supporting
the spirit of diversity? What actions might a leader take to demonstrate that their interest in
diversity goes beyond rhetoric?
Ultimately, what steps will you take to develop your own personal leadership style and brand?
And, how will you handle potential challenges in the future?
