Day 1-2

I. Introduction (Preliminary/Explore)

Opening Routines (4 minutes)

Review (3 minutes)

 The teacher will ask the students to recapitulate the previous lesson that they
have learned. Add some comments after the students summarize the previous
lesson. If there are no more questions and clarifications in the previous lesson,
then the class can already proceed and discuss the topic for today’s lesson.

 Explain how communicative strategies affect the following: language form,

Motivation (8 minutes)

 The teacher will set the mood of the students by presenting them a picture about
election of officers.
 The teacher will ask them questions based on the picture that they have seen.

 The teacher presents the topic about the first type of communicative
strategy: Nomination

B. Learning Activity (15 minutes)

why is it important.
o asks the students to group the class into two.

Instruction: Each group is tasked to do the following.

suggesting topics for discussion. It's like raising your hand in class
to share an idea.

 The students are led to the realization that it is important to learn


and apply nomination in our lives because it is a communicative
strategy that enable us to establish a topic jointly and effectively.

 The teacher also points out that Restriction in communication refers
to the limitations that you have as a speaker. In school, community,
or society, you face different restrictions in the form of rules and
regulations that you have to follow. Some of these rules are written
and bound by law, while others are unwritten rules of interaction
and social protocols that you are expected to follow.
Integration (5 minutes)

 The students are led to the realization that a good leader must not
only be able to set restrictions for the group for a particular
communication situation. He or she must also follow the rules set.

successfully moderate the discussion, especially when the topic is
