Getting Along
We enjoy being with other people. We like talking, playing and hanging out. However,
weoften have arguments and disagreements even with those people closest to us. So,
what is thekey to getting along together? Here are a few pieces of advice that may
help us all.

someoneelse. Communication goes both ways: we talk and then the other person has ng khác cx có cơ
the opportunityto talk. Try not to interrupt when people are telling you something. hội nói
Look them in the eyes andlisten completely to what they say.
Secondly, show interest in other people. It’s okay to talk about our favourite
subject, ourselves, but ask other people questions and be polite enough to give them
plenty of time toanswer. Then we can move the conversation around to ourselves. And
never forget to respectothers’ opinions even when we disagree with them.
It’s a great idea to find things in common. Do we share hobbies? Do we like the same
singers, bands or films? Are we considering a similar career? Don’t be afraid to be
honest. Do wehave the same problems and worries? Sharing this kind of information
doesn’t come easily, but, in making friends and getting along, it can be powerfully
effective in starting andkeeping that relationship going.
Remember, though, that it’s not always possible to get along with everyone. There are
timesin our lives when we have to get along with people we may not like, such as
when we are atschool or work. But that doesn’t mean we can be rude or hurtful.
Perhaps the most importantpiece of advice is one we hear all the time: treat other

Hi everyone! Body image concerns lots of teens – including myself – especially when
teenscompare themselves to pictures they see online. A survey by the Mental Health
Foundation inthe UK shows that four in ten teens think their body image problems
come from looking atimages on social media. A lot of businesses use photographs of
tall thin models andcelebrities online. Images such as these are why around 35% of
British teens go on diets tolose weight. From some teens, body image problems can
lead to more serious healthconditions. So here are some tips to help you feel better
about your body!
Talk it out
When you feel bad about the way you look, share your feelings with your parents or
friends.Poor body image affects the young, the middle-aged and the old. There’s a
very good chancethat someone you know feels the same way you do. Another option
is to book an appointmentwith a professional who can help you deal with your
feelings and give you some advice.
Be healthy
The best way to love your body is to take good care of it. A lot of people try missing
meals tolose weight fast, but it often doesn’t work and they end up feeling even worse
about theirbody. There’s no better way to be healthy than eating well (but not too
much!) and exercisingdaily.
Be body positive online
Only follow people and businesses on social media who are body positive and post
realimages. Also avoid changing your own photographs to make you look like others.
That canmake your body image worse and can make others feel bad about themselves,
too.
